My Mum`s Aunt had her first and only child at 50 and my initial response was what the hell but she had a younger husband a lot of money and a great career and has seem to have done fine so far.

Appearing on Question Time tonight if anyone is at a loose end.

It is not a record-breaking list anyway. It can rely on Havelange, Lamotta, maybe Ali... and then? Zsa Zsa proved to be immortal as well as Fidel. Gall, Noakes, Mary Tyler Moore, Piggott, Gascoigne are wasted spots... If they only put Howard Marks or Jenny Diski in it would have been less spectacular, but probably record-breaking. Howard Marks is a huge miss yes but Diski was probably not famous enough.Gascoigne is clearly off his tits again judging by his twitter feed and looks like death.Moore is apparently bedridden senile and blind and John Noakes has advanced Alzheimer`s.None are dead certs but all are decent enough picks in my view. Diski got a big obit from the New York Times. Can't say the same for Michelwhoevermore or Crowe. Anyways, my prediction now is that we'll really slow down in pace and get about 10. 2 of the old, frequent picks (Bush, Havelange). 2 randoms. 1 of the terminally ill (hopefully finally James). But Marks was a counterculture figure whose exploits where known across Britain and further whereas Diski was although a brilliant writer not a household name.Unless you were a literature buff you would most probably not have heard of her outside deadpooling:P x

It is only May and we have a lot of low hanging fruit.I don`t think any names on the list are bad picks really.

You see this delayed death reaction phenomena is the best argument for why the Death List is a good thing. It stops you looking like an ignorant shit who can`t check the date of an article.

The problem I believe that is currently brewing in society is a sense of hiding the harsh realities of life from children.Yes you can mollycoddle children into believing that the world is a shiny happy place where everything turns out well:Well it isn`t and these kids are going to learn the hard way.People and animals die in horrible ways even from natural causes. We give children all these fallacies about death such as oh "they went to sleep" or "they slipped away" and yeah that works until you have to confront death face to face staring into a terminally ill family member or friends eyes. After that a fucking cartoon bunny getting shot is laughable!

Basically my response to Death List criticism. The way all the critics call it morbid.Well no shit Sherlock!

https://twitter.com/paftersnu/with_replies:Her husband stated on his twitter feed on the 25th April that nurses informed him the end was near for Jenny Macmillan nurses I presume?

That`s the one ha!

It is morbid but that is the nature of this site.I hope Muhammad surprises us and lives a few more years but judging by the account from his daughter as well as recent pictures and considering the long duration of his illness that looks unlikely. Also he is clearly only to get worse now so part of me will see his demise as a release as I hate the thought of a wonderful man having a long drawn out death.Whenever his end comes it will be very sad indeed.

Looked ill.I don`t understand why he couldn`t just have said to reporters "I made a catastrophic mistake and am very sorry for my previous comments and all the offence it caused." I mean he is no longer working or in the public eye so the concession wouldn`t harm him at all now in fact may redeem him. Well, I can answer that bit. He didn't say that, because he is a twat! With a long history of being a twat. His eyebrows look like whats his face out of the muppets!

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/muhammad-alis-daughter-life-moments-7798546:Muhammad Ali`s daughter says he is on very strong medication that renders him unemotional most of the day.She also says he is in "the late late stages of parkinsons" and that she was treasuring the few moments each day when his heavy medication wears off.Sounds ominous
