    Each Year's Most Significant Death.

Queen Elizabeth II , Prince Philip, Fidel Castro , George Bush Sr,Jimmy Carter ,Desmond Tutu ,Stephen Hawking ,Muhammad Ali, Billy Graham,Clint Eastwood , Pope Benedict , Pope Francis , Mikhail Gorbachev , Sean Connery ,Roger Moore are some possible contenders in terms of worldwide fame, reognition and age. Only those darkened. Hardly that Benedict, Moore or Gorbachev would be bigger then Bowie. We'll have to wait for 2020 to judge. Pope Benedict will get a hell of a load of coverage worldwide as the Pope is a massive world figure that few people in the world will not know. The fact he retired will make it less significant but it will still be huge.Gorbachev similarly is a massive figure in world politics so the output of coverage will be huge.Moore will get a lot of coverage and is known the world over but he will maybe not get as much coverage as Bowie I conceed. In UK terms the biggest two would be the Queen or Prince Phillip. That is guaranteed newsflash territory even in this day and age.

    Each Year's Most Significant Death.

Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Iggy Pop are all contenders. And BTW, why does everybody think Bowie is the biggest death of the decade? He's probably tied with Amy Winehouse. However, Whitney Houston was definitely the biggest of the decade so far. I'll probably make a poll on January 1, 2020. But now that I said the idea, somebody's going to do it today even though new contenders could be added. Biggest of the decade so far I would say are: 1)Neil Armstrong 2)Osama Bin Laden 3)Nelson Mandela 4)Margaret Thatcher 5)David Bowie 6)Amy Winehouse 7)Prince 8)Whitney Housten 9)Robin Williams 10)Kim Jong Il

  6. More the first but they can be hated by a lot of people:As long as they have a cohort of fans and the media will make a big deal out of their death . I was thinking along the lines of Tony Blair. So probably not, then. Well he has a loyal but small army of supporters and there would be gushings about his death from some so he counts just about.

Well he was in pretty bad shape in his last interview and has had a couple of medical emergencies but has been quiet for nearly a year.I would say there is a good chance he will go this year or next but I hope not as I like his work a lot.

    Bruce Forsyth

No he won't according to the Daily Mirror he is still too ill and he is two or three weeks away from being able to go out in public. It is obvious Brucie is a lot sicker than they are letting on if he is unable to attend one of his best mates funeral and it is 4 months since he had his operation and he is still housebound he is obviously getting towards the back end of his life, he probably won't make 90 in February 2018. http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/frail-sir-bruce-forsyth-sick-7762110 All my mates and family mentioned how gravelly his voice was on the phone when Ronnie died.He certainly sounds weak.I mean a funeral of a friend who lives nearby is not too strenuous.Sounds like he can barely walk and like the Queen Mother when Margaret died doesn`t want the paparazzi to catch sight of him in a wheelchair.

    12. Dennis Skinner

He is a twat. How many times has he been thrown out over the years? He is another 'Grandstander' making futile and pointless attacks on opposition Politicians. So we all think Dave is dodgy, so what? Skinner just rolls out another 'do bears shit in the woods' statement and diverts several barrow loads of shit away from Cameron as everybody gets side tracked by somebody who has been in Politics long enough to know better. Well done Dennis, you bell end. I quite like him despite being no where near him on the political spectrum. To me he comes across as one of those grumpy old Uncles/Granddad`s every family has that turn up to family events in a bad mood and just insult everyone and completely disband their filter but that somehow you respect their honesty and have a certain warmth to them that you can`t explain. In terms of making the comments he did he could have not referred to David Cameron as "Dodgy Dave" but by getting kicked out he got a hell of a lot more media exposure and access to the public than he would if he hadn`t used that phrase.Sad that is the way it is but it is true.

Ha I saw it live!Brilliant stuff. He looks pretty good for an 84 year old who has had heart problems and cancer in the past.Could easily pass for 74.

    Fidel Castro

Nah I reckon 2-3 years!I'd try when he turns 91 since that's the age his brother died. I don`t think that makes any difference.I mean siblings can die at different ages when they got old.Fidel has a long history of health problems and is one of the biggest global figures of the 20th century so his continued inclusion is a smart move in my view.I don`t think he looks that great in that video though.I mean he looks ok for someone his age but he looks worse than some on this list that are older such as Prince Philip, Jimmy Carter ,Henry Kissenger ,Stan Lee and Peter Carrington to name a few.
