    Death In The Family

My Aunt died in a hospital near her home in Portugal overnight from complications from heart disease, kidney failure and emphysema. She would have turned 66 next week. Not a shock as she had been ill for a couple of years now but still very sad though.

    The Boys Of '66

I think Wilson should definitely be included next year if he is still breathing. He has had Alzheimer's for 12 years now and looks quite bad in recent photos.Plus he is 83 next December and could easily develop complications such as a stroke or pneumonia before then.Stiles may also be a good pick next year due to the various things wrong with him.Maybe he could have a spot somewhere at the bottom of the list at like 49 or 50?Peters I don`t know enough about but being diagnosed only 3 years ago with no other known health problems makes me think he could last a fair few years yet.

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2017

I suspect you might need to play a few subs before the year is out. Will be interesting to see how many make the starting line next year. I found notebook from about 10 years ago where I had a possibilities list jotted down. Went though the list and only 4 remain still alive, and they're on this years DL Who are they?

    The Vicar Of Dibley

The three eldest seem the most likely to go soon due to age.Liz Smith as we all know has not been well these past few years.Dawn French`s weight may cut her life short also. She keeps losing weight then putting it back on so who knows!

    Philip Lowrie V William Roache

Alan Rothwell left an awful lot sooner than Lowrie and then you open the can of worms as to whether Anne Cunningham would merit a place. I suppose a poll of surviving members of the cast in that first episode could be made: William Roache Alan Rothwell Philip Lowrie Patrick Shakesby (Susan, Ken's girlfriend) Anne Cunningham Or all the original cast: Doreen Keogh (5 February 1926) (Concepta Riley) Ernst Walder (17th November 1927) (Ivan Cheveski) Anthony Booth (9th October 1931) (Malcolm Wilkinson) William Roache (25th April 1932) (Ken Barlow) Philip Lowrie (20 June 1936) (Dennis Tanner) Alan Rothwell (9 February 1937) (David Barlow) Anne Cunningham (1st March, 1937) (Linda Cheveski) Patricia Shakesby (6 November 1942) (Susan Cunningham) The first three wheren`t in the pilot episode.
