https://twitter.com/StacyMichelleB/status/704092096613982208:This one looks ominous though. Two uncles dying in two days.Seems too much a coincidence to me! -

Maybe she told someone that her Uncle died and they assumed she meant Jerry? -

He also claimed Elijah Wood was dead. Why haven`t they banned him?I mean it is a reprehensible thing to fake someone`s death.I mean what if a friend or family member heard the rumors. It must be really frightening to hear rumors about an individual if you are close to them and especially if they are old! -

Could be the wrong uncle though? She does refer to Steve?Unless "uncle Steve" is a nickname for him. That was my first thought but on her bio it says she has an uncle Stephen Barrington (Barrington being Jerry Maren`s late wifes maiden name).Seems weird if you had one Uncle Steve that you would refer to another uncle by the same name if he had another name you could use. Also I have come across Stacy Brrington`s account before when searching info on Jerry and her bio hasn`t been edited since. -

Apparently Piers Sellers was given 12-18 months last month, even with stage 4 pancreatic cancer... That is very strange. The average for Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer is 4-6 months. Also he had been feeling shit for 9 months before his diagnosis in October which is a very bad sign as it means it has been detected particularly late.He already looks like Patrick Swayze towards the end.He is clearly gaunt and pale to the extent that if you didn`t know he was ill you would probably guess that something was badly wrong.

Oh I didn`t know about the stroke.Knew her eyesight has been almost nil for some years now. What strikes me is how gaunt she looks.I agree but it looks like it might be a happy release. She is clearly too weak to get out her own chair or do anything for herself now.Very sad to see such a great lady looking so frail even though she is 104. and has had a bloody incredible life!I think it is a real shame that she isn`t more widely known.Especially when you consider some of the air-head celebrities who everyone knows but doesn`t know exactly what they even do.

I definitely think Clare Hollingworth is famous enough for the Deathlist. She had a career spanning several decades and made arguably the biggest scoop of the century in terms of historical significance. Many of the great war correspondents who have succeeded her have spoken about how incredible she was.She was also the first and last Western Journalist to interview the Shah of Iran. She will easily get an obit from every major news outlet and on a slow news day maybe even a brief mention on the evening news.I feld some snaps for her 104th Birthday last year and in my view she looks absolutely terrible!A shoe in for 2017 but I wouldn`t put any money on her lasting that long judging by these pics! http://www.fcchk.org/fcclatest/clare-hollingworth-celebrates-her-104th-birthday/

"Give Rest In Peace a chance"?

That is true.I think I am over generalising by using this case as an example!

Yeah if a Doctor gives you a time scale like that it is almost certainly accurate or overly optimistic !They are normally very reluctant to say how long so they must have found it in several other organs or something equally dire. Also on a side note has anyone heard of any of her work?

Absolutely there's been some discussion of this on other sites and there's a few cracks in the BBC's official stories even between the BBC News site's own articles. I reckon BBC staff we're told to comply with the party line or say goodbye to jobs, he didn't so this tiny link between him and an allegation years ago has been brought in to get rid of him. They've changed the phrasing from "fired" as it was this morning to "parted company" but the point stands... One BBC arcticle: "Relevant part "BBC staff knew of complaints against DJ Jimmy Savile, but senior management were not told because of a culture of fear that still exists, a report says." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35658398 'They included two BBC managers who confronted Savile over claims he took teenagers home from Top of the Pops.' http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35656367 He's being thrown under the bus to show that they meant the threats to him and other staff, but he's rich enough and old enough and judging by some of his photos ill enough he doesn't give a fuck. Apparently he is thinking of suing.I bloody would!

So if must of use know, why bother to post it again? I daresay there's a thread for agony aunts somewhere anyway. why bother posting Paul Daniel's cancer agin. Why post Sidney poilters poor aging but if you must ask it's because I don't want to repeat this year by forgetting a shit load of celebs with cancer i.e Dan heggerty and Pat Harrington. Well, keep a fucking list then, like the rest of us do. This forum is not your personal note pad. Any chance you could pm me your 2017 list Toast? This business of doing any work is what has prevented me from submitting a team on time the past couple of years. I mean obviously I'd make a few changes, that can't be too much effort. Actually the offer is open to anyone. Certainly, do you want it now or in December? Come on, it's hardly time consuming. It's just a matter of keeping a list. It can be a word doc on your PC, a piece of paper in your wallet, or the back of a fag packet. Whenever you come across a possible candidate while browsing DL, or elsewhere, you simply add the name eg "Denise Robertson". Then cross them out when they inevitably die before the starting date My first lists were written on post it notes.Found a couple when clearing out a drawer the other week

https://twitter.com/diski/status/702883605551382528:Well according to this she doesn`t think she will make 3 months.

Is she Ill or summat? Is she Ill or summat? she's 81 and famous, enough for me to start a thread, but i guess i can only start a thread if someone totally irrelevant is ill or potential victim.... (joey feek and at least 100 others, but don't want to pint out anyone...) I don`t see the problem with starting threads. Especially in this case where the person is elderly and very famous.

I have thought he looked funny over the last few months. I always thought he looked great for his age until a year or two ago.Anyone reckon he is being used as a sacrificial lamb by the BBC to detract from the report published today?
-
Well she was voted one of the 50 greatest movie stars of the 20th century (only 3 are alive now :Her Poitier and Kirk Douglas).Definitely famous enough for her own thread.

Well Slocombe was pictured in a wheelchair last year but died from complications from a fall last month.Could have fallen out of bed or when trying to get out the chair.

No problem.I have seen some of his coverage of general elections and the moon landing as I am a history nerd:P and I recently saw him interviewing a young David Bowie in about 1964.I can send you the link if you haven`t seen it.

From what I can gather your Grandfather is a consummate professional who has had a remarkable career.I hope he is doing well these days. This is a prediction game primarily and not a wish list.

:I am guessing it is due to his eccentricity in this advert and other TV appearances and mannerisms that meant he was able to get away with going on Pointless and the Weakest Link despite most probably being genuinely senile.
