Had a new idea for a Dead Pool.Fortunately unlike Death by Numbers it will take less input from me.Basically aim of the game is to pick 20 candidates from the 1920`s.You need 2 from each year of the twenties from 1920-1929 and you must have one male and one female from each year.Candidates only qualify if they have a BBC national news article about their death and or an obituary The game carries on until we run out of names. As soon as one candidate from anyone`s list dies the pool will be immediately restarted and it is first come first serve. You can even be a bitch and steal someone`s entire list if you wish. It is a competitive game. The overall winner will be decided when there is universal agreement that a full list can no longer be made under the requirements. The pool restarts as soon as a link from the BBC is posted verifying age of the deceased (by their own standard).No two players can have duplicate picks and the age given on BBC will be accepted as soon as the article is published and pasted to this site.It has to be decisive at the time the news breaks. As soon as BBC give an age that matches the year of birth you have given them the pool will restart. If the age they give is different to the year of birth you don`t get a hit unless it is amended before another death that meets the criteria of a hit. I believe it was Radar who first shared the news of her Alzheimer`s to the public so assuming their sources are the same it is probably true. She has had end-stage dementia for years now so her being in hospice care would be no great surprise whatsoever.

It is quite sweet as Rosalynn always said she fell in love with Jimmy before she met him as his sister Ruth was her best friend and she remembers seeing a picture of him in his naval uniform on the Carter family mantlepiece.Of course they had technically met before that when Jimmys Mum Lilian delivered Rosalynn and introduced her to the then just under 3 year old Jimmy.

It isn't impossible of course but I do think it is unlikely.Knowing Jimmy is going gives Rosalyn a very strong reason to go on I.e to hold on for the love of her life and be by his side until the end.I think most likely scenario is Jimmy dies and Rosalynn goes a few weeks or months later of a broken heart.

After the time delay they still make a glaring mistake saying he was survived by 6 children.

Biggest UK death of the year so far.

She has had 3 severe falls recently can't walk very far at all and needs a wheelchair and had had to live with her sisters for safety reasons.Sounds like the brain metastases are quite advanced.

There clearly needs to be physical and mental tests for elected officials.

What I don't get is that I hear Republicans quite rightly questioning Fettermans and Feinsteins ability to fulfill their Senate roles but haven't seen the same scrutiny of McConnell even though he is quite unpopular with the Republican base.
