    Political Frailty

Yeah, I admit to having been quite shocked to see how badly she appears to have deteriorated within the last year. Whereas Tebbit looked like the kind of creature Peter Cushing hunted down in the 1980s, and still does today. Indeed very sad to watch.Of course it is possible she just has an infection and didn`t want to miss the vote as it was an important one.She looked like she was going to burst into tears which is unusual for her as she is normally very calm and collected.I definitely will include her on my DD entry next year. She just has an awful look about her even if you discount the oxygen mask. She looks skeletal and a bout of pneumonia over the Winter could easily see her off.I saw someone die from emphysema and they had the same look of fear and desperation on their face and that was very near the end.

    Political Frailty

Was looking at the House of Lords debate on tax credits. Baroness Campbell of Surbiton spoke through an oxygen mask .I was aware she was on Oxygen at night but clearly she is getting even frailer. Spinal Muscular Atrophy which she suffers from as does one of my good friends is not terminal in itself (at least not that particular type) but chest infections are very common as are other complications. Here is a picture so you can judge for yourself . A sad sight really. Norman Tebbit looks a bit thinner and older than when I saw him on TV at the election but he was the same as always i.e tenacious! https://twitter.com/hashtag/baronesscampbell?f=images&vertical=default&src=hash

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2016

The top four I would certainly half-expect on the 2016 list. Booth was still able to give interviews this year, which suggests his dementia is still quite slow acting. Dexter may show up on the list in about five years time if still about, I think: crime novelists have shown up before, but PD James had to wait till 91 for her debut. My suspicions, though I could be wrong, are that Angelil, Stewart and Hollingworth aren't really Deathlist committee type picks. Even then, I was surprised they went for Chris Woodhead, so who knows? If they are on an MND trend, they might go for Fernando Ricksen. If they went for Eddie Large, they might well plump for Jim Bowen, who was already rumoured to be quite frail before yet another nasty stroke this summer. For actors of a certain vintage who happen to be getting old, Robert Hardy or Peter Vaughan feel highly Deathlist eligible picks. The thing with Booth is he has had Alzheimer`s for 11 years and also suffered a stroke some years back.He was also known for his heavy drinking and smoking which could well at 84 catch up with him.He also looks pretty frail in recent pics.Dexter has had diabetes for many years and looks awfully frail.Although diabetes isn`t typically a death sentence complications can occur.Angelil I wrestled with as he is more famous for being Celine`s husband than for being her manager but the fact that he is her manager I would say swings it. Stewart is notable for her trial and imprisonment and although is not a household name will certainly obit widely.Hollingworth I think is easy to justify as she was a well respected journalist who has the link with WW2. Ricksen I reckon has a couple more years left but I couldn`t really criticize his inclusion based on his health.Bowen seems like a good choice as do Vaughan and Hardy.

How about George Alagiah. He was diagnosed with bowel cancer 18 months ago and hasn`t been back to work done any interviews and stopped tweeting over a year ago now. Might be worth taking a gamble as he is certainly famous enough for the list.

    Ian Brady

sends out Christmas cards four months early. Someone at the daily mail flunked maths Well, early September is 3+2/3 months, they rounded that to 4. I think this is really weird, cruel and unusual punishment. Why keep him alive, when he wants to die? Who's gonna benefit from that? Let him die and end his suffering, free up abed in the hospital and save money. Clearly a win-win situation. I have to disagree.Ian Brady and Myra Hindley took away their young victims ability to choose the manner and timing of their demise so I think it is only appropriate that he gets the same ability taken from him.I just hope that he is crying with agony on his deathbed!

    Helmut Kohl

That is hardly a ringing endorsement of his health. When they say "considering the circumstances" one can only assume they are referring to the fact that he isn`t dead yet.Definitely a keeper for next year.

    Val Kilmer

I reckon he is lying! There is clearly something seriously wrong with his throat for him to keep covering his neck up .Not to mention the severe weight loss and unusually pale complexion.I normally take these rag stories with a pinch of salt but this certainly seems credible.I would say he is probably worth a place on the list next year at 47 or something similar.

    Bob Barker

Well seeing as their is no NHS in the states I am sure he used his famous show`s title when bargaining for a quote for treatment in hospital!

    Bob Barker

someone trip zsa zsa Gabor Difficult to trip up a woman who is bedridden. If you can think of a way let me know.Besides it wouldn`t work.Zsa Zsa has survived falls before and strokes, blood clots, blocked feeding tubes ,a car crash, divorces ,an amputation and many infections. Therefore a minor fall on a sidewalk probably wouldn`t do it

    Death In The Family

Very sorry to hear that Toast.Dogs bring us such unrequited joy and loyalty meaning that their loss is felt severely.I have an 11 year old dog now and although she is in rude health I am aware that the time will come fairly soon and the thought of losing your loyalist of friends is hard to comprehend.

    Death In The Family

I am having a rough time at the moment.A few days ago I buried a dear friend and neighbour of mine.He was 91 and had suffered ill health for several years and selfishly when I knew he was very ill a few months ago I put off seeing him as I knew it would be an awful sight to witness. At the time it seemed a natural response but now I feel like a bit of a bastard for not seeing him. Also a close colleague of mine is now fighting stage 4 breast cancer and has previously fought the disease off 3 times before and also lost her eldest daughter to cancer a few years back. She is 56 and says she has 3 years to live but I would be surprised if she made Christmas as she is losing weight very quickly and suffering complications from her illness. One of my best Friends mothers from School who is also 56 has recently been given a terminal cancer diagnosis.I don`t know the type as the family are trying to protect her privacy which is understandable but it is indeed aggressive and causing her great suffering at this time as well as all her family whom I have known for many years so it feels personal despite it not being so in the traditional family sense.Suffice to say it has not been a good time for me and I am feeling quite despondent to be honest.

I have to confess I had no idea who he was which is unusual for a Deadpooler like me who never stops researching names.

    Lord Howe

I think the UK Politicians who we should seriously consider for next year are: Peter Carrington (Born 1919) Baronness Trumpinton (Born 1922) Patrick Jenkin (born 1926) Jim Prior (born 1927) Grevile Janner (born 1928) Douglas Hurd (born 1930) Roy Hattersley(Born 1932)
  25. Is Douglas Slocombe ill? Statistically, an average 102 year old man has an approximately 39% chance of dying within a year, according to online figures. What makes his death so imminent? Anyways, my death list would be: Martin Crowe 14 October 2015 King of Thailand 24 October 2015 Clive James 7 November 2015 Howard Marks 12 November 2015 Murray Walker 15 December 2015 Bishop Geoffrey Robinson 22 December 2015 Thor Hansen 8 February 2016 Stan Lee 10 March 2016 Jimmy Carter 16 April 2016 Gene Wilder 24 April 2016 John Hurt 16 June 2016 Mary Tyler Moore 5 August 2016 Slocombe has looked very frail for a long time now so I have had a hunch for a while that he won`t go on too much longer.
