Zsa Zsa`s dead? You`re pulling my leg!!!

Cheers for playing Sir C.Points are awarded by the last two years of a birthyear so no 1900 births score 0 not 100.I can`t think of any that are likely to obit anyway.Still curious on your sources with regards to Channing. Can find nothing elsewhere.

You mean we all spent over 7 months now posting numerous (dozens of) links to actual people who have been diagnosed terminally and have an actual number of months left to live, lots of others with real illnesses that will likely knock them down in under 18 months (read: lung and pancreatic cancers), who if by the stars aligning MIGHT squeak into 2016 and be top 10 material, and you put out this hackneyed list like you signed on January 1 and not again till August 14 without reading a single post? Three of those names aren't even sick, just old. I've got a few sheets of paper with names jotted down for next year and I'm not doing good homework at all admittedly. C'mon man, you can do better. I'll put Oliver Sacks against that entire list, just using one name. Your list also presumes the death of Martin Crowe? Tsk Tsk. SirC Whoah calm down Sir C.This was a prediction for what I THINK the top 10 will look like not how I want it to look.I really don`t reckon Crowe will be around next year.If I had my way the top 10 next year as it stands would be : Martin Crowe ,Jimmy Carter, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Oliver Sacks Howard Marks ,Brian Sewell ,Antony Booth, Helmut Kohl, Christy Dignam and John Hurt.

Hmm, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's... maybe he actually has Dementia with Lewy bodies: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia_with_Lewy_bodies Here's hoping for a Casey Kasem-style comedy ending for him. Well Lord Janner certainly would have gotten away with it if it wasn`t for those meddling kids!

We in for an epic few months if you are correct Deathray!

I think the top 10 as it stands will look like this: 1)Jimmy Carter 2)Zsa Zsa Gabor 3)Billy Graham 4)Bhumibol Adulyadej 5)Joao Havelange 6)Fidel Castro 7)Muhammad Ali 8)Denis Healey 9)Clive James 10)Kirk Douglas

Definitely. He is incredibly famous and his a piss poor prognosis that makes him a dead cert for next year if not before.
-
I suppose it depends on the treatment offers and the exact prognosis. I am guessing we will hear a statement on Wednesday next week that goes something like this "I would like to thank the many wishes of goodwill and prayers I have received in the last week.Unfortunately recent tests have confirmed that I am in fact suffering from Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to my lungs and liver. After careful consideration with my physicians and family I have decided to refuse any further treatment in order to spend time with my family and friends.I would appreciate that myself and my families privacy be respected at this difficult time.I have officially cancelled all my future engagements however I do not rule out making public appearences as and when I am able to do so."
-
If you were Jimmy Carter would you have life extending treatment or not?I kind of think if I was a few weeks shy of 91 and had advanced cancer I would just not bother.
-
Connery and Finney are proably the most likely to die out of that lot.I know Vanessa Redgrave is a chainsmoker and that she had a bad chest infection several years back but I could easily see her sticking around for a good decade or so yet.
-
Leslie Phillips has also been a tease.Helmut up for the Kohl on September 19th

Here`s a full list of the sweepstakes to make it easier to read and keep track of: Let`s hope his Dr`s notes are better than our predictions.I doubt it somehow though. :Found this video of a Canadian Politician called Stephen Lewis.Looks eerily similar to Blakey!!!! -
Isn`t there a 4th criteria of being assumed to have died years ago? That`s what made Clive Dunn such a legend because most people assumed he was actually an old man in the 1960`s when Dad`s army started.I think Kirk Douglas is getting close to being a Deathlist instution sure/y having appeared on the list more times than anyone else living.

Better here, surely? I guess it's an age thing....firstly I hated LOTSW, parents made me watch it and secondly he was in it after I was old enough to make my own TV choices so I never saw him in it..he will always be Blakey to me. He was in LOTSW longer than he was in On The Buses. I couldn't watch LOTSW after Bill Owen passed away, although I did watch the episode where they paid tribute to him (Bill Owen/Compo). Leaves Anna Karen as the sole survivor of the main cast (every episode). Tripped onto Twitter to see the reaction, almost to a man and woman they refer to On The Buses for Stephen Lewis. There were 3 films too (let's not judge the quality of those but remember Mr Lewis' acting!). Like George Cole, there's some roles that just define your career. Having looked at Anna Karen's IMDB, she's been in Eastenders longer than most roles, but I'll bet she'll be more remembered for OTB or even the 1970s The Rag Trade reboot. Everyone has a different memory though, and that should be respected. I'll always remember him as being Blakey from OTB. Same with Anna Karen, even though I've seen her in a couple of episodes of Eastenders, I'll always remember her as Olive from OTB. I've only seen a couple of episodes of The Rag Trade Same. I watched Last of the Summer Wine in the background when I was very little with my grandfather.Don`t particularly remember him in it.I remember Burt Kwouk Brian Murphy and Peter Sallis walking around together though. He will always be Blakey to me! -
I`d say the three nearest to Dunn now are :Warren Mitchell Peter Sallis and Abe Vigoda.
-
With excellent healthcare and with being elderly(which means cell division slows down) I would say he has a fair chance of living another 5 or so months.I think it will be close either way though.
-
Apologies for raising your hopes.
-
https://www.facebook.com/AbeVigodaFacts?fref=ts#;Came across this Facebook post which basically glorifies Abe`s longevity at the expense of recently deceased celebs.Maybe we should put Abe at number 50 on the DL next year and keep him there until his death as he is pretty much a US Clive Dunn!
-
There are no points for unique hits. There are no restrictions on next years list. You can keep the same team start afresh or anything in between.

I think it is highly probable he is suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver based on his family history and recent surgery. As a former president he can respect the very best healthcare available which should see him into 2016.His odds of seeing 2016 through are almost nil so definitely a top 3 hit for DL next year.
-
He looks good for his age I think.I could see him hanging on for several more years.
