Not sure I believe that she is in a coma.I haven`t seen any major news sources carrying it and anonymous sources have to be taken at face value.Not that I would be surprised if it was true.

I think it is impossible to predict how long she will last mainly because we don`t know what the drug is that is keeping her alive and even the Doctor`s don`t know how long it works and even when the drug is well established no one knows only guesses.One things for sure though as soon as the cancer outsmarts the drug it will be weeks at best.Also Valerie is always incredibly optimistic and on tone and body language you would not know anything was wrong but she has dropped a couple of hints.One when she said I am ready to die earlier this year and the second was when she had a minor stroke last year.She is clearly putting on a brave face and has incredible gusto and determination but you can`t outsmart cancer on that basis alone sadly.

Here's cynical me listening to the Today programe this morning; hearing "perfectionist," "gentleman" and "loner" in the discussion and telling Mrs MPFC that by this afternoon the first of his "victims" would be touting him/herself around. D'ya think, there really are some decent people in the world? Who knew, eh? Congenital heart defect I reckon as there was nothing to indicate why he died from what I can read.If it was obvious like suicide or an overdose then I doubt the police would say that.

I know what you mean.I think every dead pooler has a grudging respect for her .Since I first stumbled on this site and began following it there are only 6 candidates that have featured in the entire duration I have followed the site (the others being de Havilland ,Douglas,Healey,Molinaro and LaMotta) and I wouldn`t be surprised if she outlasted them all.

You are probably right, but we would of said the same thing 5 years ago and she is still here so who knows but surely she can't go on indefinitely, the Prinz and Zsa Zsa are allowed to stay at there house until September 2018(or the Prinz is allowed to stay 100 or 120 days in the house after Zsa Zsa death assuming she dies between now and September 2018) assuming Zsa Zsa is still alive, if she is still alive in just over 3 years time, it will be interesting to see what happens as surely they couldn't just kick out a then 101 year old woman with her health issues onto the streets. True but she is five years older than she was then so can only be worse and nearer to the end.She keeps surprising us though but the longer you linger the closer you are to the end.If she gets threatened with eviction they can always`s get Bob Geldof to write a song about it to depress us all at Christmas.I doubt they would kick her out in all seriousness but if they did or even got near they would get loads of money on a go fund me page and move her somewhere else.The stress wouldn`t kill her as she doesn`t know anything anymore.

I don`t think she will be teasing us for another five years. Even if she has good vitals being sedentary with multiple health concerns whilst in a state of minimal consciousness rarely occurs for a decade especially in someone her age .She has suffered a stroke and blood clots and in old people these tend to keep happening intermittedly. She is prone to infections and is almost certainly catheterized which inevitably leads frequent bladder infections which of course can turn into something more serious such as pneumonia or antibiotic resistance.She also most very likely has advanced Alzheimer`s and eventually that will get to a point where the cognitive decline affects her bodies ability to survive.I.e the immune system shuts down .The fact she is still alive is a miracle but not one anyone can rejoice it except von Arsehole as he can`t get evicted whilst she is still alive.

I know he spent a lot of time in hospital and that he had anemia but no I hadn`t heard about any cancer.

I thought Liam Neeson deserved his own thread. Although he is only 63 and has no known health problems he has appeared to have lost a substantial amount of weight over just the last few weeks. His publicist says he has "never been better" I am sure we will agree that he has never looked worse. His weight loss is said to be down to a diet last year but he was never fat at all.I pondered whether this could be due to a film role but actors of his age don`t usually take risks with their health like that and if that were the case his publicist would surely put people`s minds at rest? In the link below it appears he has a swollen lymph node: an ominous sign perhaps?Radar have also claimed he has cancelled an upcoming film he was due to start in September however his publicist has denied this. Was just doing some research and looked into I.M Pei the Chinese-American Architect.Judging by the size of his wiki page and other links on the net he is easily notable enough to feature on DL.He turns 99 next April.Probably a good call to put him on next year`s list.

I can`t envisage him being successful as I can`t see the right of the Labour party embracing or even tolerating him and can`t think of many MP`s he could get in his shadow cabinet even.
