Looks like Morano has deteriated .After seeing that article I now don`t think either will be sticking around for much longer!

I have known lots of old people they have just nearly alldied.I have met two centenarians but have no clue when or if they are now dead.3 of my lae grandparents were in nursing homes so I met my fair share of Zsa Zsa`s who were in their 90`s in appalling health but seem to linger on forever and ever.Currently the oldest person In my family is my great Uncle who is 92 and survived an aggressive brain tumour 4 years ago but still lives independently.

Where`s the evidence that Olivia is a huge bitch?I knew her and Joan had a very bitter feud but that`s the only negative thing I can think of.

Very sad to hear this although I am of course not surprised. Why he wasn`t on DL baffles me!

100 names is too many to memorize 50 is better .Way too many cardinals and obscure people as well as supercentenarians which in my view is lazy.If you want a Deathlist base it on fame not age.I think Winton is probably the oldest person alive who is famous enough for the Deathlist.

Too risky to take him off.If he were to die and not be on the list it would be embarrassing for DL.Maybe just put him at the bottom of the list. Agreed as Lee and Macnee have shown even those who are active and still reasonably healthy at that age can just drop. He would be a huge miss. I think we have to stick with him. I think that there are some picks that end up like Ronnie Biggs and Clive Dunn who will be on until they die.I can`t see the Deathlist taking off people like Prince Phillip Zsa Zsa Gabor Billy Graham Kirk Douglas Al Molinaro Fidel Castro and Jake LaMotta under any circumstances.

I think he is a decent enough pick.Yes he is fairly young in death list terms but his history of smoking and drinking and the fact he has had lung cancer justifies it.He is indeed famous enough in UK terms as Dallas was broadly viewed as iconic.I agree that Jake Roberts was a bad pick in hindsight though.

How well will her death be reported in the UK?
-
Depends if any of us are famous. If I was famous I would of course feel obliged to share the news of my imminent demise.

Detroit Social activist philosopher and feminist Grace Lee Boggs turns 100 today and has declined media interviews due to being in hospice care and was also unable to attend her own birthday party .She has now been in hospice care since last September. Not sure if she is famous enough for Death List but I can`t see her lasting much longer. She and her late husband had links with Malcolm X and were monitored by the FBI.If we put her on next years list as "philosopher/activist" could we justify it under the Death List`s criteria of inclusion based on fame and not the fact she is on her way out? http://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2015/06/27/417175523/grace-lee-boggs-activist-and-american-revolutionary-turns-100 http://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2015/06/27/grace-lee-boggs-birthday-party/29384585/ http://www.democracynow.org/2014/10/10/i_am_coming_to_the_end
