I am a fan of Joan Rivers-although she was out of order saying some of the things she did about the Middle East by in large she says exactly what people think and is one of those brutally honest battleaxes/divas who is very entertaining to watch!I hope she recovers!

The picture was taken in 2011 but Christopher Lee , Stan Lee,Clive James, Ian Brady,Valerie Harper,Wilko Johnson,Ed Asner,Sam Simon,Terry Pratchett,P.D James ,Kirk Douglas and many others on this list can still walk and Pete Seeger and Chapman Pincher where still mobile before their deaths and didn`t look half as bad as this guy so I think he is still one of ours.

I have a feeling she will go this year -been very quiet recently and she is in the worst shape of anyone on this thread (as far as we know)! I`ll say November 17th from a stroke.

She has one but yeah she is also bedridden and mentally incompetent unlike Biggs who retained his memory.I think it is so cruel to keep her alive through a feeding tube at her age and condition!I will be relived for her when she does eventually go!If I where Von Arsehole I would just let her go naturally.

I can`t help but feel sorry for Kirk -he has outlived so many of his friends now but I think he will be with us for a while yet his mind is so sharp and he is still very mobile for a 97 year old !Its very sad when someone gets to an age where they are one of the last of their generation but it is better than the alternative I suppose!
