Aaron Bell has stood down.

Dying Probably has asked me 2 important clarifications which I thought I would share. 1)The definition of Leader Westminster Political Party means the Party leader of a Westminster Political Party not necessarily the Westminster Leader of a Political Party e.g Neale Hanvey is Alba leader at Westminster but Alan Salmond is the leader whereas John Swinney is the SNP Westminster leader whereas John Swinbey is the Party leader.Douglas Ross also doesn't count as he is the leader of the Scottish Conservatives which is part of the wider Conservative and Unionist Party. 2)Yes picks can be changed before the deadline but please refrain from doing so where possible as it is a big inconveniance and makes the running of the game difficult to monitor especially if lots of people do it. .

Nadine Dorries was no longer an MP at the end of the last parliament.I know that at least Aaron Bell , Chris Grayling, Dominic Raab , Craig Mackinlay, Degenna Davison and Robert Goodwill all stood down at the last election and are no longer candidates.

Still a better candidate than Joe Biden as he now is.Then again very few peiople aren`t.

They were saying the other day that reform were predicted 18 seats now 6.Seems implausible under FPTP.

I reckon Biden has still a few years left in him (not good years though). Then again so does Carter at this rate.

Nah she wont be a candidate.Too divisive and not exactly known for her cognitive abilities if I can put it that bluntly.

I would think Newsom would be the obvious choice to replace Biden.Very competent media performer and wouldnt cause a stir in the party. Hakeem Jeffrries is also a possibility as is well regarded by Democrats from all accounts although I think his profile is less than that of Newsoms.

You would think though they would come out in public as a last resort and how Jill is not putting her foot down I do not know.

Christ! Just watching the debate myself now and it is worse than I was expecting.He looked like he was about to pass out on the stage on several occasions and seems to have developed a habit of keeping his mouth open most of the time. He definitely was on the verge of falling asleep on at least 2 occasions.Painful to watch and quite scary that he is the President. I say there is no chance they let him stand based on that.

I have said for 2-3 years that Biden clearly is showing signs of serious cognitive decline consistent with dementia. Not saying that as a political point but just an observation of behaviour. Why on earth his inner circle have not intervened is beyond me.

Doubt I will be around to see the answer.
