James Baker

Recommended Posts

James Baker, (Born 1930) served as White House Chief of Staff for both Reagan and Bush Sr. He also served as U.S. Secretary of State from 1989 to 1992. Has remained a popular figure in establishment circles, and continues to be quoted in popular press regarding foreign affairs. Was recently the subject of a major biography and PBS documentary.

I should have gotten more input before creating this thread. I think my reasoning was that former U.S. Secretary of State, George Schultz had received a thread when he was in his mid eighties.

Probably nothing but he is 94 at the the same time. Worth keeping an eye on.  That aside would appear he's been ok up to relatively recently if he was scheduled to attend and speak
