Give the crown to the Queen and strike a pose, there's nothing to it – VOGUE!

This winner song is so stylish, is the opening act to 90s dance music, it is underground and mainstream at the same time, it is the song where I was asked while dancing on the dancefloor: “You are doing material arts, don't you?”, it is the only Rap part I can sing along with, IT IS VOGUE!!!!!

And after Donna Summer and Nena* it's the third solo female winning a Kill or Save on DeathList – I am so proud of all of us, thank you very much!

Vogue is an anthem, it's iconic, it's classic, it has style, it has grace, Rita Haywood gave good face... yes yes, I shut up now!

VOGUE was a world wide smash, hitting No.1 in the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, Sweden and many more, also beeing a Top 5 hit in nearly every other country with a proper charts system. It said to be the highest selling single of 1990 with more than 6 million copies.

While Madonna is now a figure to laugh about, she was on the top of her popularity and influence at the time of the release of Vogue.

But I also would like to mention our runner-up, White Towns “Your Woman”, which was a smash at that time and a signature 90s song for me. I even bought the CD single and own it to the very day (what I ca't say abouit Vogue tbh).

But now here it is, the top 25 most popular UK No.1 hits of the 90's, chosen by the DeathList Killers and Saviours:

02. White Town – Your Woman (Sir Creep)

A big THANK YOU to all the players in here. This game is nothing without your interset into music, the love, the hate, the discussion, the anger, the shocks and the surprises; still it is a special place in this forum. Keep it save, don't kill it, haha!!

And now up tp the 60s, kill them all! :shoot:

*to be fair, Nena was a group at the time of 99 red balloons, but since the 90s Nena was a solo female act, so...

Do you think the daily star will give us a mention regarding the killing of the songs?
