Irish TV star has had a history of Alcoholism and other Legal issues which has hindered his and smokes like a chimney and has that classic "died from smoking related illness in his mid fifties" look. He is currently 47 years old and looks like a cross between 25 and 65

I admittedly didn't recognise his name before seeing the thread so I googled him.

 

No idea what the original poster is talking about, he looks fine to me.

It wouldn't have been too shocking of a thread in the late 2010s. Making one nowadays is a bit of a Slowpoke meme. He seems to have generally cleaned up his act in the past 5 years and still works steadily.

 

Smoking and abusing alcohol are not really especially worrisome on their own. There's an extensive list of alcoholic celebrities who have lived much longer than Rhys Meyers has. MacGowan was a heroin addict who drank from the age of 5, and he is surely in better shape than that.
