I found out that 3 of them are still alive: John Fiedler - 80 Jack Klugman - 83 Jack Warden - 84 Any informantion on their health and are they famous enough for the DL? I cant be sure about the survivors from the movie the "famous jury" but i could be sure about Jack Klungman being a possible participent in the 2006 faimly. Well let me see-- We have 2 Jacks and a John and an often used friendly form of the name John is Jack. Therefore it would seem that the survivors of 12 Angry Men are all Jacks. What does this mean? I don't know. Another odd item is that John "Jack" Fiedler was in the 1968 film version of The Odd Couple which starred another Jack-Jack Lemon. I'm beginning to see a connecting thread. As for health, Klugman had throat cancer some 10 years ago but is still alive and has done work (including voice work) since that time although in an even more gravelly voice than before. Fiedler has spent most of the last 20 some odd years doing the voice of Piglet in various animated Winnie The Pooh films. Warden was working in 2002. More useless information: Martin Balsam was in 12 Angry Men. Walter Matthau was in the film version of The Odd Couple. Both of these men appeared in The Taking of Pelham 123. (I told you it was useless information.) Another tidbit: Tomorrow is the 35 year anniversary of the death of Ed Begley who was another of the jurors in 12 Angry Men. Suspect he must be good to go as given an Honorary Oscar this year which is usually a waiting to die award and he turns 82 in June... Sid's Bio Director that produced some great films, usually with a good main character under pressure to do something that he doesn't agree with. Guest IYG Posted April 28, 2005 I don't think Lumet is nearing his end yet. The academy gave him the life achievement award because he's getting old and never won anything, they're just making sure he gets one in time unlike other people in the past. I knew if I looked around long enough I would find the true reason for your being sent to Ulan Bator... Anyway....we are now down to the last lone jurror. Fiedler passed on in June of 2005 (on the 25th day) and Jack Warden kicked off the following year in the month of July (that would be in 2006 on the 19th day).
