But I heard some EU officials on the radio say that you did not vote correctly, that you did not understand the issues.

You will stay behind and vote again until you get it right!

I strongly deny that we kicked the body.

Merde, who spilled the beans?

Josco did, they're all over his pants.

Are we allowed to have non-persons on the Deathlist? If so, this opens up lots of opportunities.

Could I nominate the late OMJ and Terminator's potential diplomatic careers?

If the constitution were to come into force (ho ho...) then the EU would get a "legal personality" ie it could enter into treaties, contracts, sue people, appear on Big Brother etc.

Not sure whether legal personalities qualify for the Deathlist tho. Could have put Enron and GM Rover and the Tory Party on the list, I suppose...

I think you will find the Tory party died in 1997, although I understand that Josco harbours some hopes of reincarnation :referee:

I am bittery outraged at that comment :referee: . That would would mean i been getting all excited in vain at the last 2 election for a tory win!

although I understand that Josco harbours some hopes of reincarnation

I do hope so!

Looks like the French and us Dutch killed it.

But look like Blair really put the nail in the coffin at the EU meeting last night!

Some misguided voters believed that it reincarnated in '97 into Blairism. The poor fools.

I won't celebrate yet. I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere in the future they take bits from the corpse for transpantation purposes.

Add a mad scientist and an Igor and we have found the first European President. :referee:

On a related topic, can I just say it's good to see our old friend Jean-Claude Juncker in the spotlight, acting as mediator in the row over Britain's EU rebate.

He actually got a few lines on BBC News 24 the other night.

If anyone has to declare the constitution dead, surely he's our man.

He better get on with it, then. There's only ten days left in Luxembourg's EU presidency.

Bloody Chiraq's fault. Doesn't like Britian having the upper hand in EU matters such as the on-going one! Pluss Britian is backed now by Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and Finland.

Tempted by Treasonable Politicians, the pirate thread and F*ckwits I eventually trawled here. Why do we have about 3 threads on the previous US election but nothing expressly designed for UK/EU politics? Perhaps I didn't trawl enough, anyway my question:

Who or what are The Roman Party. Ave!? I received my postal vote today and amongst the other also rans was this lone candidate. I doubt I'll vote, however this life of Brianesque party is tempting. It's an EU one and I could vote here but really I don't see the point of party politics in the EU when there aren't proper universal parties which are represented all over Europe. Or did I miss the Belgian UKIP candidate?
