BrunoBrimley 86 Posted April 6, 2005 I just finished reading More Die Of Heartbreak. Strange book but in typical Bellow fashion it held my attention throughout.

Night 4 Posted April 12, 2005 Andrea Dworkin, writer. No cause of death listed, and she was only 58. I'm thinking suicide. She was ailing but not as far as I know with anything considered life threatening.
Tuber Mirum 126 Posted April 12, 2005 Sounds like she was a thoroughly nasty piece of work. I'm glad I'd never heard of her.
Cerberus 304 Posted April 12, 2005 Oh I'd heard of her. I've often wondered what the opposite of a misogynist is, if you get my meaning. Funny how everything leads back to Linda Lovelace on here ... not that I have a fixation, or anything.
honez 79 Posted April 12, 2005 Australian cricketer Scott Mason died at the age of 28, two days after suffering a heart attack while batting in the nets This would have been a cracker for the DDP. He had open heart surgery last year to have a new aortic valve attached. Shame I never do any research.

Cerberus 304 Posted April 12, 2005 You're on the right lines, but that's a person who dislikes or distrusts people in general. Can be male or female presumably. I was thinking of a woman who hates men, like Ms Dworkin there.

Cowboy Ronnie 78 Posted April 12, 2005 Andrea Dworkin, writer. No cause of death listed, and she was only 58. I'm thinking suicide. She was ailing but not as far as I know with anything considered life threatening. A "lightening rod for feminism", according to her bio. No kidding - check out the photo. And I was struggling to figure out how some guy lived with her for 30 years before finally marrying her, until I got to the end of the article where it pointed out they were both homosexual. Makes perfect sense then......
