Lady Die 63 Posted July 6, 2005 Howabout Ross Davidson, former Eastenders actor but recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor and gave 6 months to year so if he survives this year he will be a definate for next year. Poor Ross! Must be at least the 3rd time his name has been put forward (possibly all within this thread, though I can't be bothered to check). He's a pretty good bet for next year. He should definitely go on the 2006 list if he's still alive on 31st December.
Wozza 0 Posted July 6, 2005 It seems to me you can compile the majority of next years list with actors/resses from the land of soap operas... Family Affairs: Barbara Young (Sadie Hargreaves), not the smallest of ladies, will be 70. EastEnders: June Brown (Dot Cotton) smokes 20+ per day will be 79. Derek Martin (Charlie Slater) will be 73. Wendy Richard (Pauline Fowler), Pam St Clement (Pat Butcher) will both be 63+. Barbara Windsor (Peggy Mitchell) will be close to 70. Hilda Braid (Nana Moon), now very frail, will be 73. Leonard Fenton (Dr Legg) will be 80 if he makes it that far. Plus ex-cast members Anna Wing (Lou Beale) will be 91 and the ever going Gretchen Franklin (Ethel Skinner) will be nearly 96. Neighbours: Ian Smith (Harold Bishop), quite overweight, is 68 next year as is Tom Oliver (Lou Carpenter). Ex-cast member Joy Westmore (Mrs Forster) will turn 74. Coronation Street: William Roache (Ken Barlow) will be 74.

Guest IYG Posted July 7, 2005 Zsa Zsa Gabor had a stroke, I really think that if she survives this year she should be added to the 2006 list.
Windsor 2,233 Posted July 7, 2005 I've always wondered - why is Zsa Zsa Gabor always 6 years older in Deathlist? In 2003 she was listed as being 93 meaning she was born in 1910 however wiki has her being born in 1916 making her 87 in 2003. So is it an error or a running joke. In honour of her 90th Birthday in 2006 she should definately be included on next years list.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted July 8, 2005 It's the Hungarian connection. Seriously, she and her sisters arrived in the U.S. at a time when age was very much an important factor in getting movie roles so since she could pass herself off as appearing younger she went with it. That's my theory and a darned fine one if I do say so myself (which of course I do).
Banshees Scream 110 Posted July 8, 2005 When ever i hear about Zsa Zsa Gabor i always think of my aunt who passed away about 6 years ago at the age of 99. She always hated Zsa Zsa. She said she always tried to act much younger then she was and most of all she would lie about her age. The only thing about it was my aunt was just as bad as Zsa Zsa. She married only once but after her husbands death in the early 1960's she would still date men only for the purpose of accompanying her to dinner or for a new piece of jewelry. The difference was i believe Gabor married 9 times. Though my aunt hated Zsa Zsa for trying to make herself younger my aunt was just as bad. I guess she was a bit of a hypocrite. When she would see the younger doctor when she was around 83 she would say she was a young 79. "At that time the docters offices probobly didn't have the same computer technology that they have today but they probobly still knew she was lieing'. The point is no one really knows how old Zsa Zsa Gabor is. I say she could be well into her 90's maybe being 3 - 5 years older then the date listed. Let's just hope we can get her on this list for next year if she survives her stroke. And if she does survive lets hope she didn't inherit her mothers genes. "Her mother lived to be 103"

Cerberus 302 Posted July 9, 2005 When ever i hear about Zsa Zsa Gabor i always think of my auntwho passed away about 6 years ago at the age of 99. So your aunt would be about 105 if she were alive today? How old does that make you BS? Perhaps you'd like to be considered for next year's list. And I've just noticed we already have a Zsa Zsa thread.

She was a great aunt** And yes Cerubus i would take it as a great honor to be on such a list but not only am i not very old but i don't believe i have any serious health problums. i'm not so sure i'm going to die anytime soon. O and yes the Zsa Zsa thread was started by myself a while ago. I have been hanging around this websight since 2003 but never joined untill april this year. At the time when i created the thread i was under the allias of 'Advisor" which at the time i was trying to figure out a good name for myself. Even to this day i'm not really happy with the name i'm currently using. I'm a bit sick of it but i guess ill keep it. Ive been using it for so long anyway. maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted July 12, 2005 Can't say I've religiously read all 29 previous pages of this thread but if he's not here already let's get Jack Wild down pronto. Apart from anything else if they keep taking such huge slices of his body to combat cancer he'll end 2006 as a human jigsaw>
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted July 13, 2005 How about Saddam Hussain? He should end up as the star attraction at a public execution in Baghdad next year, once he's finished suing The Sun for breaching his human rights A dead cert for 2006 methinks

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted July 14, 2005 How about Shane McGowan? I remember reading in NME in 1990 that he only had 6 months to live unless he stopped drinking and drugging. I believe Mr McGowan has carried on regardless and last week a BBC journalist was overheard recording his obituary, surely not a good sign. Of course he may go on forever like Keith Richard, who I understand is now 136 years old.
