The cynic in me assumes he wasn't too much of a worry for the insurance people underwriting this tour because he's so far down the bill that any health problem ahead of them setting off wouldn't lead to mass demands for refunds. Funny we should be reviving this thread as Ronnie Wood plans to go back on the road but Proby's up to his old tricks. His "farewell tour" amounts to a minor part of a package assortment of oldie acts - link: https://www.pjproby.net/2018/01/29/pop-rock-legend-p-j-proby-announces-farewell-tour-to-mark-his-80th-birthday/ If all goes according to plan he finally lays it to rest in...Carlisle! Phantom 2,550 Posted January 12, 2022 Was doing some tidying up around the house, found this signed photo that my parents had Proby sign a couple of years ago as part of my birthday present. Apparently despite health issues in the past, Proby is still gigging at the age of 83.
msc 18,536 Posted September 19, 2022 Showed up on this week's Talking Pictures to promote I Say Woman, his new song. Bit weather worn, but well enough to travel to England, be interviewed, and then do a live performance.
