Lady Die 63 Posted December 2, 2005 We haven't had a death for a while & I'm starting to think we've reached our total for 2005 already. Or does anyone disagree? Only 29 dying days till the end of the year.....
Josco 49 Posted December 2, 2005 I disagree. (Only because I'm feeling argumentative today!)
Lady Die 63 Posted December 2, 2005 Only because I'm feeling argumentative today! Does that make today different from any other?
sympathyforthedevil 11 Posted December 2, 2005 Brooke Astor has lived for over 103 years, which is almost twice as long as the likes of George Best. She really should accept that her days are up, do the decent thing and pass on.

Banshees Scream 110 Posted December 2, 2005 I disagree. (Only because I'm feeling argumentative today!) The results of last year would prove that anything is possible from seeing Artie Shaw die on December 30. That would most likely explain why the first couple days of this years list only had 49 canidates. This very list Shaw was originally part of but a last minute replacement had to be found. Star Crossed 33 Posted December 2, 2005 Of COURSE we'll get 12. Having had 11 in 11 months, it stands to reason... blah blah blah. I remain optimistic. Come on Lady Die, keep on sending those positive (negative?) vibes to your favourite remaining candidate... who knows? (apart from Banshees Scream, obviously )

I am having hot flushes. Could it be my age? Am I going through the change? Could I be a DL candidate?

maryportfuncity 10,639 Posted December 2, 2005 It's cold in the Northern hemisphere where our entire surviving cohort live, there is some serious eating and drinking coming up and everyone on the list is old and/or infirm. Have faith my fellow ghouls!
Paul Bearer 6,100 Posted December 2, 2005 Voted yes. Plenty time yet.
Tempus Fugit 214 Posted December 2, 2005 I voted no, I'm feeling pessimistic about there being furher successes. I hope I'm wrong, but old people do seem to linger longer these days. The stubborn old gits just won't let go.

Windsor 2,233 Posted December 2, 2005 I voted yes...because I want to argue with Josco. Why can't the deathlist be like 'East Enders' - someone dies every Christmas there. I have a theory that the bosses of UK soaps are no more than grinches who get their pleasure by killing off our favourite soap characters on Christmas day. (S**t theory, isn't it? )

Ravenstorm 0 Posted December 2, 2005 I was hoping one or two didn't go so we could start the new year with a bang. So to speak. That George Best never did anything you wanted him to.
