Student with 'death list' taken out of ... school

Recommended Posts

Your link is a bit dodgy Mr Alive (subscription required) but this one works

washingtontimes.com

While its good to see the DeathList idea being adopted at such an early age its a sad indictment on the US educational system that she really hadnt grasped the concept clearly.

I'll keep an eye out for her signing up to the forum though ;)

Mr Reaper,

This incident would of course Beg the question as to whether a "hit" is valid should it be found to be someone trying to up the stats?

If you think that this is unlikely, then I would like to point out that I am sure some of my colleagues would "sell their Grandmother's soul" to improve stats..... ;)

Let me just skim through the DL unwritten rules...

Nope a hit but anyone connected to DL (or its forums!) does not qualify as a success.

Im sure that will put the minds of some raging forum visitors to rest ;)

Can the girl's "mom" and "bro" be considered famous enough for inclusion on the list? Not reported in the story was the fact that she also had Clive Dunn down as name "#" 19.

Typical U.S over-reaction to normal teenage over-reaction.

Don't you hate those "parental advisory" stickers on CD covers? Forced on there by hypocritical mid-west bible-fascists.

On the other hand, I'm gradually coming to the belief that kids who listen to Marilyn Manson are more likely to become murderers than those who don't.

Shame you can't play CD's backwards to get the satanic messages like you could with vinyl records. :skull:

vinyl records

What are they?

They were a new invention that replaced the easily damaged wax cylinders. :skull:

I once lent my favourite LP (It was a copy of the just released Teaser & the Firecat) to a friend who managed to break it clean in two. He sellotaped the two pieces together very neatly and believed that it would still play and that I would not notice.

If that had been a shellac disc (78 rpm style), it might well have been repairable with sellotape ...just.

:skull:

Had sellotape been invented by then?

Neither I nor Mr Cat Stevens (as he was then known) are quite that old!

Sorry! :skull:

I'm suffering from a surfeit of 8-year-olds who think Eminem is well past it .

And they know everything.
