Saint Peter 14 Posted March 13, 2006 Wee Jinxy Johnstone has kicked it, finally! Sad, he was great to watch, even though he played for Celtic ! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...tic/4800766.stm

scsibear 4 Posted March 13, 2006 What can I say about our greatest ever player, this is a sad day for all true Celtic supporters. I had the priviledge of seeing wee Jinky play on more that one occasion, also later in life when he retired from football he became a driver for a company in Glasgow whom I worked for and then met him personally quite a few times. He still had some hair then He will be sadly missed ..... scsi
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted March 13, 2006 There's a video called Lord of the Wing, highly recommended, the man was an absolute genius with a ball.

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted March 14, 2006 The best Celtic Player of all time. Debateable I'd say. Absolute genius, I stand by the comment about what's on 'Lord of the Wing' but sometimes it's obvious that even his team mates are struggling to work out what he's going to do next. Most skilful player maybe, greatest would depend on how much of a team player he was.
