Guest Arnold Posted December 20, 2003 As we know, The Man About the House star is in a nursing home as a full time resident and is described as "very fragile" following a recent stroke, despite being just 59. A reasonable bet. He is also a manic depressive so he may give us a second bite of the cherry with an overdose or a hanging.
Guest Guest Posted January 23, 2004 What a vile bitch, don't be so disrespectful..why don't u die yourself instaed, bitch!!
Grim Reaper 186 Posted January 23, 2004 Thanx for that Mr anonymous Guest. It was good information from Arnold as ever and truly in the spirit of DeathList. However Guest you'll be pleased to note that Mr O'Sullivan didnt make it to this year's list so we're actually hoping for him to survive the year. You on the other hand is a different matter...
Guest Guest Posted January 24, 2004 Yes whatever. Obviously just some silly dry humoured witty (or maybr wittless) site disrespecting Mr O'Sullivan and others who may not be with us for much longer. When one is looking on the web for some 'proper' information about someone, one does not expect to be directed to such a tasteless site as this. Indeed such an undignified display from people with no class..so please I will take your 'you on the other hand....' comment in the way that this site intends, with a pinch of salt.!!! in the maentime I will serach elsewhere and hope to come across something more fruitful. And I do hope that Mr O'Sullivan feels better soon, as 59 is no age for someone to fall so ill.
Guest Zardoz Posted February 14, 2004 I bet Tony Blackburn is laughing his bollocks off, Dick will find it harder to go round shagging other men's wives now. What goes around come around, oui??
Guest Guest Posted February 16, 2004 I doubt that Mr Blackburn would be so gleeful as to laugh at Mr O'Sullivan's misfortune because as well u know, life is full of ups and downs. perhaps u should get a life and stop judging Tony Blackburn as you yourself would probably react. In fact u have no idea how anyome would actually feel about it!! So what if richard went off with Tessa Wyatt in th '70s, actually life moves on. Maybe u should too u saddo!! Guest Guest Posted February 17, 2004 To the pompus twat who dismissed the earlier posting regarding "What goes around, comes around", life may move on tosser but fate and God's judgement do not. He who lives by the sword should have his penis cut off Oui? You sound like you have no personal morals at all, and probably a "Very small" penis.
Grim Reaper 186 Posted February 17, 2004 Calm down Guests - lets not get overheated about the Man about the House!
Guest Tony Blackburn Fan Club Posted February 18, 2004 Or in the case of Miss Wyatt, The "Other" man about the house. Anyway he has no taste. If I was going to get off with a co star, I would have gone for Sally Thomsett. Put him on the list, if the stroke doesn't get him, an annoyed husband probably will. Guest Angel of Death Posted February 18, 2004 Poor Richard, I have had the privilege of watching Robins nest on UK Gold and firmly believe that Tessa must take her share of the blame . . . .there is something dodgy about people who have teeth that are that white and toothy!
Guest Zardoz Posted February 18, 2004 Well yes indeed, it does take two to tango, and I know what you mean about her immaculate teeth et al. I found her agent's website a few weeks ago, and in her publicity photo she hasn't changed at all. Something unearthly about this vixen a la "Highlander". To be honest, I never rated Richard's talent as an actor for much. He always seemed to be carried by those around him, i.e Paula, Sally & Vicky. By the way, found a very young photo of Yootha Joyce, she was quite a looker in her youth. Life is but a dream within a dream........ Stayin Alive 26 Posted February 18, 2004 Hey Zardoz Nice bit of poetry there, but surely you mean she was quite a looker in her yooth? Hey, why not share the joy with the said photo's URL. To be honest I never even realised that was her name: the unforgettable Yootha with the big tootha's. I remember her on TV as that woman that always played familiar roles in quite similar shows; an alpha-female comedy figure of a woman, with young Brian always close at hand. Brian Murphy still with us - born 25 September 1933, and party to one of the most pioneering eras in British comedy. I trust we will all give generously to the The Yootha Joyce Memorial Fund: http://hometown.aol.co.uk/mrsslocombe2002/yootha.html They still need some more pledges. Feel the city breakin’ and everybody shakin’, And we’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive. ah ha ha ha
Guest Zardoz Posted February 18, 2004 I refer to the centre black and white photo at: http://www.geocities.com/supermeguk/Yootha_Joyce.html In my humble opinion she was quite a looker. Anyone who thinks there work life is more important than their home life should consider this. Who on their deathbed ever said that he wished he had spent more time at the office. Enjoy life now for tomorrow......... http://poetry.rotten.com/wurms/wurms1.jpg Goodnight boys and girls, sleep tight. Uncle Zardoz. (The gun is good, the penis is evil) "Take note Dick!" Guest marts Posted February 22, 2004 Any chance of the Tessa Wyatt photo link ?
Grim Reaper 186 Posted February 22, 2004 Well I accidently caught an episode of Robin's Nest on tv a few days. The doc has given me a prescription and advised me to take it easy for a few days. Apparently most viewers eventually make a full recovery. He also mentioned that most health insurance policies dont cover inadvertant viewings of Man about the House - so you have been warned. http://www.nostalgiacentral.com/tv/comedy/robinsnest.htm

The Yeti 14 Posted March 17, 2004 I could've sworn there was another message here last night. Must've dreamt it. PS I only translated it ... don't shoot the messenger ! PPS Maybe such message should be shifted to the pinned irate visitors strand instead ?
Grim Reaper 186 Posted March 17, 2004 Apologies Yeti for the removal of your message - it was imaculated translated - however once the other message was gone its relevance faded somewhat. Clearly another "Irate Visitor" breezing through but we have to keep some of order here. Im thinking of starting a thread about troublesome threads - Carr/Huntley, Ronnie Reagan, Richard O'Sullivan...where will it end?
Guest Guest Posted March 21, 2004 I am new to Google. I went to school with Richard and was in his class for years. Is he still alive? I remember his brother John. I have lived in the States since 1965.
Stayin Alive 26 Posted March 21, 2004 Did Richard always have two pretties around him in the classroom or playground?
Guest debbie Posted April 7, 2004 hi, sorry so barge in on all of you here at this forum.i found it by accident.im american, living in england since july of 2002.my husband is british.i just started watching robins nest and have become interested and curious about this actor. i hate to bug anyone on here in case this isn't a serious site.what i mean by that is ,some of the posts ive read on here are funny and maybe this is purely satirical,i dont know. if it is,please forgive me,but i've come back and tried here because i'm really frustrated.they seem to have websites for everyone and everything now,so why cant i find one on this guy? he's a valid actor ,has had numerous series.i've searched all over the internet to find recent pictures-like 1990's etc .of him etc. every site i go to either doesnt say anything on him, rather it refers me to cliff richard items??? or the sites say the same things, and no pictures -even from the old series -with the exception of robins nest.the sites state the same info.which amount to 2 or so sentences(i've now memorized-the date of his birth ,his football team, how he lost his accent.) that's it. it wasnt till i came on here that i found out anything substantial or current about him. i've typed in "richard o'sullivan-actor/r...british actor/r...fan sites/r...website etc.no luck. please, if anyone can help my e-mail address is: xmastree@excite.com thanks alot. Guest debbie Posted April 7, 2004 sorry- iforgot to add this to the lat note-if it's true that he is in a nursing home-is it possible to get the town and or address to write to him?or as he is/was a star, is he unapproachable?(pardon me ,i cant find the correct word im looking for ,but i want to post this quickly before i close down my computer-i think "inaccessable" may be a more appropriate word) Again,THANK YOU anyone who takes me seriously and bothers to answer. Grim Reaper 186 Posted April 7, 2004 Well Debbie not quite the focus of this site but: http://www.boredatuni.com/wht_found.php?whtId=83 http://pub143.ezboard.com/fwhirligigtvfrm1...start=1&stop=20 http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/Perso.../personid-65816 http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0642801/ You're right that theres not much news on the net about him - but if you find out any more about his state of health please let us know
Stayin Alive 26 Posted April 7, 2004 Debs - are you thinking of paying Richard a visit at his care home or something? I'm not sure he still does autograph signings or answers to personal callers (they have caller ID at the home you know), although an autograph request might be a true glimmer of sunshine in the dayroom. Also, if you can share his date of birth with us, we can update our death database accordingly. Lets hope he stands and delivers. Thanking you...
