I remember a certain Roxy Music hit single receiving heavy airplay at a Vancouver radio station at the time Lemay was playing for the Canucks, and I half-imagined Bryan Ferry was singing about him: "Tell me one thing, Moe Lemay..."

Society for International Hockey Research (SIHR)'s database. It's a member-only resource, though.

@edm88Myron Stankiewicz (wiki) died on September 11, 2024, aged 88, according to an unsourced edit to Wikipedia. Someone in Burlington, Canada added it so I think it's accurate. Is there anything on the SIHR?

Bill Hay, who played over 500 games with the Chicago Black Hawks from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s, but who became a Hockey Hall of Fame executive for contributions that included having been president and COO of Hockey Canada from 1990-1995, has died. He was 88.

Nothing, unfortunately. Maybe the obituary could be still yet to be published. A family tree posted by a sister-in-law on Ancestry also has the same date.
