And how exactly do they plan to check the outcome of that caper?

Presumably they hope it'll happen in their life time.

 

Someone had better tell 'em Dr Leonard "Bones" McCoy won't be born until 2227. :D

It'd be nice if they turn out to be right.

To be fair they've openly admitted it's unlikely. The main question is whether or not they intended to be frozen.

 

Personally I'd rather donate my organs for medical use than do this. Hopefully I will die in a scenario where they can be made use of.
