Football Manager Sacking Bingo

Recommended Posts

For those of you who thought Scavenger Hunt went on a bit a reminder this was a thing and it's finally over with a raft of terminations owing to Covid, but it's befitting a sacking for poor performance and becoming the story (fined by FA for misconduct in 2019 ... Four defeats in a row recently and one win in 10 matches in 2020) .

msc 18 have all left their clubs long long ago but he's DQed for not providing a full complement of 20....

Switch wins with Lee Johnson's dismissal from Bristol City on the 4th July 2020 (The messenger Pigeon from the Championship is a bit slow.)

Managers still in post for the runners up (ones who've not been sacked, anyway some have returned to former clubs for a 2nd bite of cherry) ....

Rockhopper - Paul Warne (Rotherham)

MPFC - Paul Warne (Rotherham)

Chopped Liver - Paul Warne (Rotherham), John Coleman (Accrington)

Round 2 will open for the start of next season, once the situation regarding next season is a bit clearer. :)

:D:D:D - I mean, it's not like a salable skill I could put on the CV or owt, but a decent result is a decent result - good competition, clearly kept the watching public riveted and all that

Awesome performance from  Switch

Christ on a bike, I assumed this had been a 2019/20 thing and was considering entering the next one. This goes back to when Owen Coyle was Blackburn manager?! Tony Mowbray's been here 3 and a half years now!

Now I've discovered there's no danger of being competent in this, I'll probably put a team together. Though only a fool submits a team this early, there's going to be at least another 5-10 changes before next season begins!

Yeah, a good point - a more pertinent alternative competition might be a balls to the wall pool in which we pick the football teams  that are going to go bust in the wake of the pandemic
