Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted May 7, 2017 Howdy, pardners. Not sure if this really warrants a thread but I caught an episode of the old Lone Ranger television show recently. Hadn't seen any since reruns aired on television down on my ranch back in the 1980s. Let's just say it hasn't dated too well but served me well as a bit of a guilty pleasure (and I don't even normally like westerns OR superheroes, so go figure)... Anyway, I decided to see who was still alive out and... it turns out there are probably fewer survivors than from the shoot out at the OK Corral, pardners. The entire main cast (okay, so it was more or less just the Lone Ranger and Tonto) are long gone. Of the notable guest stars, only three remain: Phyllis Coates (born 1927): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phyllis_Coates Dwayne Hickman (born 1934): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwayne_Hickman Marion Ross (born 1928): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Ross More info on the cast and guest stars in general: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lone_Ranger_(TV_series) Of the 1956 film version, only Beverley Washburn (born 1948) is still alive: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beverly_Washburn Of the film's 1958 sequel, two actresses are still alive: Noreen Nash (born 1924): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noreen_Nash Lisa Janti (born 1933): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisa_Janti Of the most recent Disney film, it is unlikely anyone will die soon unless Johnny Depp overdoses or trips over his own ego or something.
Lewd_Squirrel 331 Posted May 7, 2017 There are a few, from the Disney one, who have potential, to pass away, soon.

A notable figure appeared in supporting roles during the 50s in movies like Tomahawk Trail, Escape to Burma, Naked Paradise, The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold, Ten Thousand Bedrooms, World Without End etc. I contacted Glamour Girls and they updated, let's hope for an Hollywood Reporter obit. . Cross-posting here to the thread where Lisa Montell, later Lisa Janti was actually mentioned. Anyhow, Hollywood Reporter obit: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/lisa-montell-dead-world-without-end-1235484771/ 1
