She has been involved in a court case against rapper group OutKast since 1999, but is now too ill to testify. Last report I heard was that she was ailing and suffering from dementia. Rosa Parks was about to be evicted by the management of her building because she was $4,471 behind in her rent and had not made any payments for several months, despite repeated letters and warnings. I can't see how that is unfair. If you or me were behind in rent, we would be evicted and there would not be a big crowd of people demanding for us be allowed to live rent-free. Money woes plague legacy of Rosa Parks Regarding her health, there has not been any recent update. She remains in a frail condition and her dementia seems to be getting worse. What I am saying is that it is unfair to blame Rosa Park's landlord when her court appointed guardians are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a lawsuit instead of ensuring that her expenses are taken care of.
