I guess we could have a look for these if you think it's worth it? There was a 1936 DOB for him floating around online but the 1939 one seemed to be more commonly favoured. I can see where the confusion has arisen from. Now this man has form, appearing on a couple of 80s hits notably Wikka Wrap so I've looked into his stuff before - I'd put money on him double tracking himself on this single. Co-writing credit goes to Bert Weedon - I'd stake my life on him playing guitar on it and if he's credited it's probably because he was involved in extending a 1 minute track into a 3min 50 single. Which turns out to be an alias of this guy, Pinuccio Pirazzoli. Who is definitely most certainly the guy playing the guitar on the TOTP clip! I think we can safely say there were 4 session singers there for dressing.
