BBC4's 1977 TOTP reruns aren't working out too well - more drops than a Parkinson's Cricket XI . Brookes and Kershaw were 80s, thankfully Just as they were about to show the Bowie one... All over? For fucks sakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help me out here. They are showing programmes already made so the costs involved in producing each show has been paid for long long ago. Is it really beyond the Beebs capability to just edit out ALL the DJ presenters and just show the effing charts and episodes without a DJ to link them? TOTP2 is still doing the rounds and was just loads of acts linked in with Steve lardy arse Wright doing the voice over. As for ratings dropping like a stone, well its never worried those bastards when its been applied to digital radio, Stephen K Amos and bastard Countryfile has it!!! That fucking BBC needs a good shoeing.

In the good old days somebody would have been kneecapped by the spelling/poor grammar police If they had posted that, or summat. It seems to me that the deterioration of spelling and grammar is linked to the proliferation of more and more gadgets, iPads, Kindles, iphones and whathaveyou. At least people are always blaming them for it. Personally I think it's just showing off.

PS: My Mum and Dad took me to see their Film "Flame" when it came out back in, er, a long time ago. Cool. I never did see that film. I see from wiki that its been released on DVD but has it ever been on TV? It's going to be part of a BBC4 Slade (mini)Night on Dec 21st. One of the few 60s bands with all the original members living, although not all still in Slade of course.

Just written a long post in reply and the battery has run out... Shag... Basically UK governments don't resign. They like power too much. Only have elections if they can know they can win them. Only their own supporters like governments. Few people ever support the government, (no matter who). So don't rock the boat old chap.
