Sure, kid. Whatever. What was your excuse for spending your entire life here before COVID? -

The people who control this forum (and practically every other part of the internet) are all just like you. They are the kind of "person" who, when one day actually being beheaded on a public street by a Jihadi, will mutter and grumble to the nearest person: "I suppose you think that just because this is happening, that means you're allowed to say this is happening! Gowaaan, I know you want to say it you bloody far-right Tommy Robinson blah blah blah *shakes fist* *death gurgles*" And that will be their greatest moment in "life," their greatest achievement. And it may only be a summer away or a year away, we don't know. -

I think you might soon return to the previous crushing dullness. For about 6 months, before either the forum itself snuffs it or your head is chopped off by a charming "refugee" gentleman. -

Who will win the 2020 US Presidential Election?

Oh I see, the "liberals"' throat doctor cleared them to resume shouting "RUUURRSSIA! RURRRSIA! RURRRSIA!" 24 hours a day, again. -

So anyway, why isn't he in prison yet, Sage of Swampville? Did Biden... just uh... forget? Seems the most plausible option -

I've been keeping up with the BBC coverage of the World Championship by pointing my high-intensity freeview aerial towards Dover (my oldest son made the aerial at uni as part of a project to prove that Nigel Farage's Question Time racism could in fact cause anxiety and hurt in the occupants of the Calais refugee camp). The commentators are getting so old and decrepit now. John Virgo is 75. He has always struck me as the kind of old geezer who uses football banter and nonchalance as a way of convincing himself he's still a "sporty" man in his late 40s. I don't suppose that his painful overanalysis of every single shot (including the ones that haven't been played yet) can be any better for his health than it is for mine. Also, Dennis Taylor is 70-something as well and yesterday he had to be reminded by his much younger co-commentator that they would only be "coming back for this evening's session", if in fact the player who was miles ahead didn't win the match within the next 3 frames. Thank god for Eurosport is all I can say about that. But BBC are the "host broadcaster" for the tournament., and most people tune into their coverage, maybe they should get rid of both before we have to listen to them actually have a particularly "foul" stroke on air.

I'm sorry, has this post annoyed your italian temper? Didn't mean to. Maybe I should have added it to the "people who are dead according to wikipedia" thread

Some rascally prankster added Gorby to the "Recent deaths" page on Wikipedia. I briefly assumed it was genuine but then there was nothing on TV or websites. They said it was of COVID. It caused this automated Twitter account to declare him dead

That's not a political definition, it's a pseudo-psychiatric diagnosis that you can get from any toothless old busker with a food and beer-stained Billy Bragg t-shirt on.

Pronouncing his name is harder than explaining what "far-right" means.
