I'll have to check, but I suppose she's 25th or less in the line of succession to the Swedish throne. That would make her a good pick for HPDP. EDIT: By my calculations, she is 36th. Oh well. That was my first thought as well.

Does this help?

I shall choose Javier Perez de Cuellar again.

Do Le Monde and Le Figaro seriously not count as "reliable, respectable sources of international news" ? http://www.lemonde.fr/disparitions/article/2016/01/02/le-chanteur-michel-delpech-est-mort_4840953_3382.html http://www.lefigaro.fr/musique/2016/01/02/03006-20160102ARTFIG00134-le-chanteur-michel-delpech-est-mort-a-69ans.php

The longer MH is away, the lesser our enthusiasm to search for obits. I wonder if it's a social experiment Reading between the lines, I think they've had a barney and Hein's buggered off. I would be greatly relieved if that's the explanation. Now then. Why didn't I put King Bumblebee on my list?

R.I.P. King Bumble. Hope the new boy doesn't cause too much trouble.

What's all this "we" about? You had f uck all to do with it, and the same goes for the rest of us.

I voted for Jake.

Local obits don't count Local obits don't count in most dead pools - Deathrace would've delivered points on that one And anyway .... it's not all about competition (or at least it shouldn't be). There's a lot to be gained by learning about the lives of remarkable people. That is one of the strengths of this site.

Photo of your dachshund, please -
Yes, but he won't have to do any more than play with it. His missus has to do all the chores, much like when kids want a pet. Hasn't he got a lot more going on than the Alzheimers?

Never heard of him, please remove this news, not important enough. Another white minority sport. Not at all. Most racehorses are some shade of brown.

Perchance you will be disappointed. -
Always sad to lose a pet. Coming up to a year since my own loss. Got another little doggy, but still miss him every day.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

The parents are obviously as thick as the kid. All they need to do was read the car for an expiry date and hurl it back in the water. Not really sure why it's national paper important level news. And what a bloody stupid irresponsible way to let the kid break the bottle. Should have put it inside a sack or something first to contain all the splinters. Could have flown up into his eye, or that nice little dog could get them in his paws. -
So. Farewell then Zoe Tate. You are about to be late. Keith's Mum used to like Emmerdale when it was a Farm. E. J. Thribb (17½)

Funny you should mention Mumsnet, I rarely go there but yesterday my attention was caught by this highly entertaining thread. Tuning in tonight for the next instalment. Woof Woof!

Let's not forget Jacko's brilliant input of "Aaaagghhh!s" and "Urrrgghhh!s"

Sometimes it's the grave or monument itself that is the attraction. Neither of these people are A-list celebs, but they get lots of visitors. Charles Pigeon Victor Noir http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/3975607.stm

Ah yes, I've paid a few visits to Jim, and the rest of the gang at Père Lachaise. Serge Gainsbourg's tomb over at Montparnasse is usually a riot of little tributes, too - metro tickets, ciggy packets, cabbages ...

Probably not. I never said anything here about my friend who had been in Doctor Who until somebody else mentioned that he'd died. I don't think he had a QO, but that's beside the point. It depends who it is though. If I didn't like them much, I might. Or if I knew they wouldn't mind.
