I'm clearly in the minority, but Gene Wilder wasn't part of my life at all. I don't think I've seen any of his films. Not even the Willy Wanka one - I'm too old reckon I had reached the stroppy teenager stage by then, and wouldn't have been seen dead watching a kids' film. I see that he had non-Hodgkins lymphoma as long ago as 1999. That killed my mother in less than six months. So be comforted, fans - he had a pretty good innings.

I think she spells it Anastacia.

I like the scan-as-you-go ones, where I arrive at the checkout with everything already packed at my leisure, and all I have to do is pay.

True, but I think they also record people without tangible memorials, if they're notable in some way. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=7731094

That says a lot about you. One did make me smile: Alan Carney, heart attack due to excitement of winning at the races A quick exit while having fun and feeling happy. We should all be so lucky.

Americans - please stop writing "apple sauce" as a single word. It is two words, apple and sauce. Not "applesauce".

Have you looked on http://www.findagrave.com ?

I used to watch East Enders in the 80s and 90s, and I don't remember a milkman at all. -
Ooh that takes me back. Crispy Cock and Trevor the Weather. Trevor the weather! He had stroke on air iirc. (As in a medical episode, nothing to do with crispy cock). Trevor the weather weathers no more. RIP, Trevor, dead aged 94. Legend!

That name is flaunting it a bit, too.

You could always leave it in the hotel while you go out on the piss.

You are correct. It's not the end of the month yet.

Especially as Lilia used to be a brand of, er, feminine hygiene product.

There is now, because 'defiantly' is the new 'definitely'.
