I think deaths should be mentioned in all relevant threads. It makes the threads more comprehensive for anyone who is following a particular interest.

Uncle Benjen?

That's awful OsP, I realised something of this nature had happened to you when you commented on my FB post about my young cousin being killed in a crash the other week but I had no idea it was this, very glad you are still with us. My best regards to you and Mrs OSP and I really hope you both make a good recovery soon. Sorry to hear all this. Commiserations to all of you.

You might want to rephrase that.

It's illogical to include something like Newsbeat when the BBC news sections of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are excluded.

Yes. Surely someone has the means to check up on Hein?

Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?
Toast replied to Brinsworth House Baiter's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I went to see him in Coventry last night. And Manchester last week. Going to Wembley tomorrow. I'd come and shout at you every night for half the price. Can't fucking abide Bruce Springtwat. What is it that you don't like, exactly? -

My pin landed on Glen Campbell.

No one in my family knew what "Liver Birds" meant. We thought Liver was pronounced as in Liverpool, a place to which none of us had ever been. It was a clever title for those in the know, but left other viewers feeling excluded. It wasn't so easy to find such things out back then.

Yeah. Butterflies - what was that supposed to be about? It wasn't remotely funny and nothing ever happened. Every episode was the same.

I nominate Catweazle Geoffrey Bayldon

Whispering actors (mainly Americans). WHY the FUCK do they adopt that peculiar husky semi-whispering tone most of the time? I don't mean scenes where people are, you know, actually meant to be whispering because they're hiding or whatever. I mean scenes where people are supposedly having normal conversations Just bloody SPEAK UP! I really struggle to hear what they say and it's another reason why I don't watch much stuff any more.

Level-three something-or-other worked! Rescued! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-36411384 Alan, now there's a typically Mexican name.

Having had my home broken into several times, I think shooting is too kind. I would happily have subjected the POS to various tortures first.

Fun fact: An anagram of racist is Sir Cat.

I like David's posts.

Now that was well worth reading. An interesting insight into the obituary department.

That's awful. A friend of mine died at about the same age of an undetected heart problem, it was very hard to deal with.

Why is it the ungrammatical Maple Leafs and not Maple Leaves?

Google Images. Why does it bring up photos of completely different people from the person whose name you put in the search box And ages ago it used to have a caption when you hovered the mouse over the photo, so you could see who it was. That was helpful. Now it just shows what website it's from. Which is usually not.

Well worth a read! She was only 4ft 11in and played a double bass that was six feet tall. "If Ms. Little’s instrument might have obscured another musician of comparable size, her sartorial élan left little danger of that prospect. A manager once dispatched her home to change after she arrived for a concert in a revealing blouse. (Ms. Little was then in her 70s.)"

I'd let David Ginola clean mine.
