Reg was a friend of mine. I have been to his memorial service and party today. He was an all-round top bloke. He's in this little documentary. did you ever ask him about working on doctor who. Not really, he gave up acting so long ago that it wasn't like a major part of his life, and he had done plenty of interesting things since. I think he did still go to various Doctor Who fan events and reunions though. A lot of people will have his autograph!

That one must have been laying dormant at the bottom of your boots. What the fuck dragged it to the surface, I thought she was dead! Naked Gun repeat was on over Easter (forgot Nancy Marchand was in that), and it's been eating away at me ever since. the fact that she has made millions because if it is enough to piss off anyone. Millions, really ? Millions of what? jeez what do you think. You are not funny and stop Nit picking my posts in order to get the attention your parents didn't give you. How would you like if you accidentally misspelt something thanks to your autocorrect and a group of people started to give you shit for it. Oooooooooooohh touchy. I said nothing about misspelling. You said that Jeannette (sp) Charles had made "millions" from impersonating the Queen. It seems unlikely to me that she could have earned millions of pounds in this way, so I was asking you to clarify in case you meant some other currency.

Well, if their full list dies before august, then this doesn't mean that they are certain winners. There always could be others who might have even better names in their list but who will die later this year In which case ...

On my Rotten deadpool. One of the original BBC Sherlock Holmes too, before Peter Cushing took over the role in the mid 60s. My first Sherlock Holmes! Didn't know he was still alive, and am very surprised he's listed in the RDP.

Don't know, don't care.

I have been arguing very coherently and responding to every point. Disprovening illogical points doesn't mean arguing incoherently. The prosecution rests m'lud.strange you argue about incoherence but then you change the topic. Get back to the death penalty you hypocritic. Strange how you anti death penslitiers enjoy ridding your high horse but then resort to childish insults. Really entertaining stuff.

Talking of vicious birds, there's currently a big row in our village because three big nasty ducks on the pond were shot yesterday. The bleeding hearts say they should have been caught and taken to a local nature reserve, or summat. Where presumably they could carry on pecking some other innocent mallards to death. I think you can guess my views on the matter.

How many of those complaints would be from parents who had no idea what their kids were watching until it had upset them? Surely if it was on Channel 5 no-one would have seen it anyway. I can't remember how old I was when the film came out, but old enough to have left home. I saw it in the cinema and was taken aback by the explicit violence. If it had been a darker style of animation, like the LOTR one, it wouldn't have been so shocking. I don't have any children, but if I had I wouldn't have let them watch that film, not as children anyway. So it's quite possible that these parents hadn't seen it themselves, if their own parents knew it was unsuitable. Hope that makes sense. I may have mentioned this before but I was once witness to a fantastic argument between a couple in a library about whether to borrow this film for their very small son. The U certificate is misleading. I agree it should be a PG due to the occasional scenes of violence which may be unsuitable for young children depending on how sensitive or squeamish they are.It depends on the child though. My friend showed his 5 year old brother the scene in Kill Bill 2 where Uma Thurman rips out Darryl Hannah`s eye and steps on it and he found it utterly hilarious ,whereas when I was the same age I cried when Bambi`s Mum got shot. That's the thing though, we don't see Bambi's mum die, we just hear the shot off-screen. Now I've nothing against gritty realism, but they chose to make WD in a fluffy Bambiesque style of animation, and the way they presented violence and death was inappropriate for that style. And it should never have got a U certificate, that was and still is shamefully misleading.

Sounds like Jenny would have fitted in there well.

Read that three times now and still don't get it. He who laughs last had the joke explained to him. Indeed. That, or he just didn't find it very funny. Not a "knee slapper". I liked it.

That goes for whether she is ill or not... Reminds me of Bruno Brimley when he was doing his fake drunk postings. Is that what's at the bottom of your signature? I've often wondered.

ffs anyone afraid of water ship down is a pussy when I was in junior infants my teacher used to always put on that movie and no one had any problems with it. The problem was that nobody expected a film in that style of animation to be so explicitly violent.

Toast replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I'm quite bemused by most of this. I have no idea what an F150 is, nor how you go about rolling one. I gather Sir Creep has been involved in some sort of road accident. Best wishes for a swift recovery. -
Is that our "Bibliophile" who's left the review, I wonder.

Fixed that for both of you.

Eligible for Rotten Deadpool, if that's of use to anyone.

I think the positive reports emanating from the Cruyff camp suggested a 2017 pick for most of us.

Oh dear. That was sooner than I expected.

I'm not apologising for making an obvious and harmless joke which should have led to some amusing if risqué banter. She did say she gets "interesting offers". That said, vanity is not a trait I admire.
