He doesn't look ill, he just looks like his face is melting, and he's had that terrible affliction since he was born. Look at Bill Wyman, though!

How many people have not died since you searched for them?

OMG what a surprise! I am usually resigned to mid-table obscurity in deadpool games, so this is quite exciting. I've made a habit of submitting roughly the same team to the Hare's Death Pool and MPFC's Deathrace on the basis that while one can be fairly confident with some of your picks, you never can be certain when they are going to fall off the perch.. On this occasion only one of my extra five obliged. Fascinating as always, and thanks to Deathray for running the game.

Must try harder. (Not you, Deathray)
-
No, you're all right because that means cancer caught him.

Thanat sounds like a pretty grim name

If I'm in a mood and have time to spare, I pretend to be a slightly deaf and dotty old dear. "Windows? Oooh no thank you dear, we had new windows last year. We were thinking about having a conservatory though. Do you do conservatories? Can you send me a brochure?" I can easily keep this going until they hang up on me.

João Havelange, because I don't think I've ever picked him before.

Love how that link thoughtfully supplies a list of rhymes for 'boner'. And good to see that 'moaner' is one of them.

I defend her a bit because she helped break up the Beatles, for which she deserves a medal for service to humanity. DJL ducks for cover. I defend her rather a lot because I once sent the to a colleague at work (I didn't like him) and the bit starting at 01:48 made him cry. She also dances better than I can and looks better in tight-fitting jeans than I do. FFS. That was painful. Aha, that'll be the one where I had advised my mate to catch Public Service Broadcasting, and he chose to go and see Yoko instead. That's what you get for disobeying my instructions.

What are the chances of somebody shooting the Trump? -
Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien, better known to the world as Dusty Springfield, went back today in 1999.

I've just stumbled upon this, and to say that I am taken aback is an understatement. The Pocket Book of Boners

What? He changed his name TO Trump? It's like calling yourself Fart.

Hmmm. Not sure about this one. bbc.co.uk/programmes is not on the list of acceptable obits from the Beeb... Award the points. It is in keeping with the new DDP standard: the people-you've-never-heard-of-but-are-now-dead standard. Yes. At least she did something.

I genuinely didn't think you were as stupid as this.

And the fact that Russell Crowe is his cousin will increase his newsworthiness in non-cricketing countries.

Oh, do give it a go. It's one of the few comedy series that I can watch over and over again and still lmao. It is a little surreal, and not your typical sitcom.

One word. Minipops.

Was she any good at basketball? No, but she ...vlogged... Here is a more esteemed Telegraph obit: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/12174699/Charlotte-Eades-Parents-of-YouTube-vlogger-post-final-message-after-cancer-battle.html Edit: Guardian obit: http://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/feb/26/cancer-vlogger-charlotte-eades-dies-aged-19 And even a qualifying BBC obit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/35672481/tributes-to-teen-cancer-vlogger-charlotte-eades Frankly I think this says a lot about modern "journalism" which seems to be increasingly reliant on copy/pasting from social media to fill space. A few years ago this sort of item would only feature in the local newspaper, which is where it belongs.

That's because people with dogs do more walking in the countryside than people who don't have dogs.

Stroopwafels? Now you're talking What about a bonus for two picks dying on the same day? Not unknown. but it goes unrewarded on the DDP.

So if must of use know, why bother to post it again? I daresay there's a thread for agony aunts somewhere anyway. why bother posting Paul Daniel's cancer agin. Why post Sidney poilters poor aging but if you must ask it's because I don't want to repeat this year by forgetting a shit load of celebs with cancer i.e Dan heggerty and Pat Harrington. Well, keep a fucking list then, like the rest of us do. This forum is not your personal note pad. Any chance you could pm me your 2017 list Toast? This business of doing any work is what has prevented me from submitting a team on time the past couple of years. I mean obviously I'd make a few changes, that can't be too much effort. Actually the offer is open to anyone. Certainly, do you want it now or in December? Come on, it's hardly time consuming. It's just a matter of keeping a list. It can be a word doc on your PC, a piece of paper in your wallet, or the back of a fag packet. Whenever you come across a possible candidate while browsing DL, or elsewhere, you simply add the name eg "Denise Robertson". Then cross them out when they inevitably die before the starting date anyway she is still so fuck off and take anyone who liked that rubbish of a post with you. I can make what ever thread I want without your judgmental ass. I can't make head nor tail of your gobbledygook.
