You haven't missed much.

He was also the keyboardist in the New Radicals. Apparently the dreamer's disease isn't curable. Aye, sad, bit partial to the B52s back in the day. It's sad, but Paul Gordon only started playing with them 9 years ago. So it was well after their heyday. They headlined the Rewind South festival about 3 years ago and were absolutely dreadful. I didn't go, but watched a live stream and was pleased I hadn't missed much. Friends there said they were awful, as did most of the regulars on FB etc. They had no rapport with the audience whatsoever.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

Only one board is private. And it hasn't been used yet, I bet you didn't know there's a secret board on DL. -
Stop poncing around and sign up to the forum then. Obviously, im assuming that you don't already have a proper account and just post as a guest to piss people off. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showuser=8004

Whom Are You Tarring With The Epithet "twunt"?

Poor old Shroud never got the hang of these, did he. -
She looks decades younger. With a good wig and make-up she could still look fabulous.

You will know the face the Commander from Police Academy or the awful soap actor in Tootsie. Having seen neither, I wouldn't.

Who Do You Think Will Win The Democrat And Republican Nominations?
Toast replied to Bibliogryphon's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Whoever owns the domain bought it in 1997 and has paid for it until November 2024, covering Jeb off for at least two more elections. Well whomever whoever owns it is appears to be a Trump supporter FTFY Another pet hate is the sudden soaring popularity of incorrect use of the objective case of "who". That said, should one talk of going to see The Whom in concert? -
I have no idea who George Gaynes is/was.

And what fucking use, in your 4th post, is this information? To be fair, he is still at the Pointless Ranter stage.
-
I don't know, but it should be shown to all the Oscar Pisspoorstorius apologists, as an illustration of what a man without legs actually looks like.

I voted for Jimmy Greaves.

I see there's no mention of a child in the announcement. According to his wiki page (I know it's not the best place for refernce) he had a biological daughter, Desiree. It also says "Apparently, there is some debate whether or not he had fathered a child by his fiancée Nikki" with a link to a 2010 report that says "Tonight a DNA test will reveal if he is the biological dad to one of his fiancée's two children.” I haven't investigated further though.

Shame, he seemed like a jolly chap.

Yep, Phil is there.

No mention of Phil?

Possibly the worst thread on the forum, its like somesort of kiss of death. People come in, say hello then fuck off never to be heard from again. The new generation of DLer has no staying power whatsoever. With a welcoming committee like this inebriated pissant fuckwit turdburglar Dr Zorders how can anyone resist? Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel I should add that most if not all of us share your opinion, so you should fit in here fine.

They've already eclipsed the Beatles since only 2 of them are dead! Did any of them join the 27 club? The news says they were between 20 and 35 - a pretty large scope Still trying to make it in a rock band at 35?! That is just sad. It was the manager who was 35. So was the driver pissed, high, or monumentally stupid, or could there be some other explanation?

It's supposed to end early, that's the point of it! http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8601&p=253686

Although I have the noble lord in a couple of pools, I'm sad to hear of his death, inevitable though it was. Having dipped into his blog occasionally, he seems to have been a thoroughly engaging personality.

Congratulations to DDT

I'm glad to learn I'm not the only one who thinks that. Don't they have editors anymore? They do, although a good many writers seem to think success means they don't need editors anymore. Anne Rice is a famous example, though I've never read any of her stuff. Ray Bradbury would submit all of his work, even after he became famous, to a group of his own peers who would point out every error, plot hole and other issues, and then he'd work on those before it even went to an editor. I like to think modern writers can learn more from Bradbury than Rice... I've noticed the apparent lack of editing more and more in recent years. Stephen King has said that he puts a completed MS away in a drawer for a month or two, and forgets about it, coming back to it with the perspective of distance. He runs it past friends and family too. I've found this a good tip. If I've written something, I can always improve on it even if I just leave it alone for a day.

I wouldn't say they necessarily went quickly, they were just discreet about being ill.

"Right now, I have the feeling that I am 2-0 up in the first half of a match that has not finished yet," he added. "But I am sure I will end up winning."
