Even you won't make it September 31st! He has edited the original post and made you look foolish.... I for one hope that he doesn't make the starting line given that I have him on my current list. Sad news though...... I usually enjoy our fete too.

Mankind is worth points, usually related to fame and date of birth, the shooting down of Pistorious would be a big score. Somehow, I think he's amongst his own kind in rich, white South Africa. At last some good news on this case South Africa's justice minister has blocked the early release of Oscar Pistorius

You forgot Heath Ledger.

I think she is famous enough to have her own thread. I don't agree. I've never watched either of those shows, and have therefore never heard of this actress. This is why we end up with threads like the DJs one which hadn't been posted in for eight years.

"Unresponsive" Is this the new word for unconscious, or does it mean something different?

Couldn't this have been posted in the US sitcoms thread?

Hm Libby And The Greek Jester's Age Of Death Poll
Toast replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList Forum
"Libby" ? Where did that come from? Never heard anyone refer to the Queen as "Libby". Her family nickname is Lilibet. -
I never heard it.

It all depends on whether I drop him from my teams. If I do, he's a goner.

Er, no she can't. Unless you mean from the Other Side.

Wouldn't the various photos that have been published (and I've seen plenty of Heath on sailing boats) and the fact that he captained England in the Admiral's Cup in 1971 been a bit of a clear indication? Well, I don't know how anybody could have missed it. Heath's sailing hobby was one of the best known things about him. It got a lot of publicity.
-
You're assuming the police protection assigned to him wasn't the same dubious lot assigned to Esther Baker's care home as detailed in that Australian doc. It's not me doing the assuming.

Sir Edward Heath was completely asexual, says adviser Lord Armstrong: "When (Heath) was at home he had two policemen on the gate, he had the personal protection officer from Scotland Yard in the house, he never drove a car himself, he always had an official driver. It just seems to me highly unlikely that he could have escaped all that to do the kind of thing that is described." Lord Armstrong seems to be oblivious to the fact that Heath spent a lot of time on his various sailing boats. Just saying.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
Toast replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Presuming you love dogs in general castrating yours is a social responsbility. The number of stray dogs in this country is over a 110,000. As well as the issues caused to the humans who have to live around these dogs, there's also massive potential disease repercussions for both stray and domestic animals. By not castrating you're dog you risk increasing the number of stray dogs - causing an animal you love - a dog - to potentially suffer that fate. It's okay to say that you keep your dog on a lead and locked away but it's not always possible and dogs (especially intelligent ones). On a closer to human level, you risk the possibility of your own dog picking up one of the large range of STIs available from stray dogs. Until the number of stray dogs is much lower there is absolutely no need to breed domestic dogs, for this reason you should castrate them. With regards to the cancer, it's only really an issue if you neuter the dog later than when the operation is normally performed by vets caring for puppies. Also the anaesthetics are very good and they'll not feel it. Depends where you live, no doubt. It's rare to see a stray dog in my locality, and most of those are quickly identified and reclaimed by the owners. News of any such stray dog (or cat) is all over the local Facebook pages in minutes, and if owner not traced, someone calls the dog warden, but that's very rare. -
Aha, I knew I had Blakey in a team somewhere. Also points to be added for Marguerite Patten and Peter O'Sullevan.

And there was me thinking it was Tom Petty.

And now she's cancelling appearances due to "exhaustion". With her constantly cancelling performances, it's almost reminiscent of the last couple of years before Etta James passed away. Yeah it's like neither of you two bothered to read the linked article. 'Constantly cancelling performances'....where did that bogus tidbit come from? She's already matched last year's number of performances (9) and it's August. She's a hefty old lady who just rode 2500 miles in a bus. Yes this is totally unexpected and out of left field she must be dying. Also -- keep in mind she probably has a bit of mental anguish pent up over Bobby Kristina Brown, being her niece's daughter. What a pair of tools. SC I thought that was Dionne Warwick not Aretha Franklin. Yes, Dionne Warwick was related to Whitney and Bobby Kristina. SC as usual has no idea what he's talking about. Aretha was Whitney's godmother, wasn't she? I may be wrong though. Honourary aunt and godmother, but not a blood relative in the same way that Dionne Warwick was. No, but she's probably still upset. It depends how close they were, I suppose.
