My uncle and aunt saw in person Mikis Theodorakis perform at the opening ceremony of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics while they were on their honeymoon. Mikis conducted a song called "Romiossini", which was sang by soprano Agnes Baltsa (who is still alive at 76 years old, just letting you know) and they were blown away by the performance.
