My hit wasn't crossed off (Michael Sinelnikoff), and for the ones that had Bob Newhart. I saw that the one who chose Elf, it still didn't have Bob Newhart crossed off, as a hit. Also the ones that had Alain Delon on them weren't crossed off of the main list, either. :)

@Bibliogryphon Teri Garr is a hit for @Captain Hemlock .

This means I’m technically tied with @Spade_Cooley since we both need Gene Hackman. Do I need to give you another name for The Conversation or do we wait and see if Hackman is the next key hit in the game?

Teri Garr is indeed a hit for @Captain Hemlock which means for the first time I invoke the Last Man Standing penalty. Both CH and @Spade_Cooley need Gene Hackman to win so they now have to nominate another nominee from their movie (this may be a behind the camera nominee. Only when both their new nominee and Gene Hackman are gone can they be declared the winner. However pick wisely because you don't want to end up in the same position again

The real surprise of Maggie Smith's death is perfectly illustrated here because if I remotely thought she was in danger she would have been on my Clash of the Titans team

Thankfully, Hackman is the only person credited in both The Conversation and A Bridge Too Far, so we can't run into any further issues. Being as it's now very unlikely that either of us will win, I'm going to go proper punt for my pick: give me Colin Farrell (the character actor perhaps most famous as Norris in Porridge, rather than the granny-shagging Irishman who somehow scammed a career as an A-lister for a few years in the 00s).

I’m going for Robert Duvall for The Conversation. Oops he’s on another list. How about Francis Ford Coppola instead?

At that point of course nobody else can win. Presumably you can start IV (including Spade and Hemlock with new teams) whilst the tiebreaker trundles on?

No even if Gene Hackman goes one of the other teams could still win. This is equivalent to a snake in snakes and ladders

Oh, Ok. I'd feel a bit hard done by if I had to get 4 whilst others get 3. But since it's not me on this occasion (nor in fact anyone yet of course), fair enough :D

It is either this or have the second person who reached two be unable to win
