Randy Moss

So, Randy "I have something internal and don't you dare say it's cancer" Moss, does indeed have cancer:

While I haven't really known him, those in the know seem to agree that he is in the running for being among the best players of all time in their position.

His cancer is in the bowel duct (?), right between pancreas and liver - sounds ... not so good. But for now surgery has been done and it seems to have been successful.

Presumably what someone with no idea what a bile duct is thinks when they hear "bile duct".

Absolutely a legend in the NFL. If he goes that’ll be a crushing blow not just for fans of the Vikings and the Pats but for football fans in general. Thanks for the update!

One of the worst cancers to get in terms of prognosis.Looking at statistics they vary but 1 year survival rate is cited between 32 and 72% and the 5 year survival is less that 25% .The fact that he had symptoms means it probably isn't at a very early stage.Really sad for someone only 47.

A receiver who struck fear into the hearts of us Packer backers, in the same way Justin Jefferson does today. Also memorable for the faux-mooning celebration and Joe Buck’s ludicrous reaction to it. I hope Randy can beat it like he did many a defensive back in his career.
