Clive's NOT Dunn 7 Posted July 14, 2005 The last time I was in a church was two years ago in Uppsala, Sweden, as a tourist. The last time I attended a service was eight years ago, at another funeral. Not bad for an atheist, eh? regards, Hein I got thrown out of a Kiwi church once. I'm not a religious person but thought I'd show willing, donate a cent or two and light a candle. I was very respectful and was observing the large sign requesting "Absolute Silence in this area. Please." Unfortunately when placing my candle on the back of the rack I underestimated the heat from the burning candles at the front. There proceeded a loud crackling sound as I managed to singe all the hairs on my forearm. Whilst not being in the least painful it did produce a foul smell. Unfortunately my companion and I found this hysterically funny. Our schoolgirl type giggling however didn't seem top be appreciated and we were escorted from the premises.
