Ivan Krasko discharged from the stroke rehab centre...and says he's in good health.

I can't find any proper additions. Apparently Sergio Corona has been discharged and David Levy, Israeli former deputy prime minister who was hospitalised last week in ICU with heart failure and pneumonia, has also just been discharged.

David Levy has died at the age of 86

Mohammed Deif 'may be dead'.

Having said that, he may have been dead several times before...

Mohammed Deif possibly dead again in an attack that just occurred.

This thread is for Israelis as per the OP.

Discussion of terrorists on the Terrorist thread.

This has been yet another public service/thread nazi announcement.

Oh well, I quoted a post in this thread and it has kind of morphed, see arghton above me.

Let's rename it to "Israeli/Palestine clusterfuck" or something.

I'd suggest not, it has worked for many years until some folk didn't draw breath and think about where they were posting.

The threads are there, it's understandable why you have posted here, we've all followed the herd at some point. But I have pointed this out at least twice before.

Everybody can stop it now.

Israeli state officials are for here, terrorists elsewhere.

I'm not quite letting this one go.

This thread has literally never worked.

For the first 13 years, nothing noteworthy happened. Then a few mentions of Netanyahu, who now has his own thread, and is still alive!, and then the majority of mentioned people are palestinians.

I do think a real middle east conflict thread might be more useful.

My issue is this. (I'll not let it go either, ha!)

For example, if we had a thread specifically for say the British Government Targets and we started posting about IRA terrorists in that thread specifically designed for ministers and civil service, thus drawing an equivalence with those, there would be uproar,

Additionally, it needs to be noted that terrorists as you well know have a special category in the DDP with requirements for QOs. It is inadvisable therefore to draw equality between democratically elected leaders and terrorists here as it may suggest a simple one side QO may suffice.

I agree the title can be misleading and maybe should be changed to Israelis, or the State of Israel or something like that.

But hey it's just my opinion and who am I to champion either viewpoint?
