football_fan 42 Posted October 11, 2005 520 members as of 08/08/05, of this number no fewer than 204 have failed to post a single thing. of this 204, 39 have been members for over a year, I think it's fair to say that they are never likely to post anything. Wouldn't it be better to cancel someones membership if they have posted nothing for a year. It looks a bit silly having all these ' dead ' members. Although given the nature of this site it might be rather appropriate. As of October 12th, 2005: We now have 616 registered members. 256 have never posted to the forum 60 of them that have never posted have been registered members for over 1 year

Quite shocking but true). Having read all of the above posts, I stand by my convictions. Edited October 12, 2005 by in eternum+
Man Must Die 0 Posted October 12, 2005 666 the number of the beast not 616. kence iron maidens song "666 the number of the beast" also all the devil worshippers and satanic people use 666, maybe they are all wrong, me included and in fact the number of the beast is

Originally 616 was the number of the beast since the beginning of time. Though 666 also another number gained fame mainly because of Aleister Crowley who if you look to your left a bit he is infact my avatar. Today would have been Aleister's 130th birthday! Even if there WAS a devil, I doubt he'd be pathetic enough to actually "have a number". It'd be kind of like vanity plates on a Ford Escort, the last refuge of the insecure and modestly-salaried. If I was the devil, I doubt I'd be that insecure. After all, being in charge of all evil must be kind of a power trip. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the devil actually does exist. Maybe he did choose either 616 or 666 as "his number", just so Jamie Oliver could have a hard time pronouncing it; "thix hundred and thixty-thix thun-dried tomatoeth"

Afterall the Police have 999 in the UK and 911 in the USA, so maybe the dark one has 666 in the UK and 616 in the USA. Go on, give it a try.

Man Must Die 0 Posted October 13, 2005 first off i apologise for taking the piss, i thought i was 100% correct when it turns out i was not. that is an interesting article, which may or may not be true. however the most common interpretation and understanding is that the number of the beast is 666, not 616. i researched some satanic cults for a while and didnt come across 616 ever. i would say even if it was proven that 616 was the original number, no one would care and it wouldnt be changed. the majority know 666 to be the sign of the beast to be evil etc and the change wouldnt be made. however that article made me think. if todays bible has errors in it such as 666 instead of 616, what else could be wrong in it? there could be thousands more mistakes in the holy book, things being misinterpreted. so therefor people could be following a completely different faith than christianity originally was. Perhaps his name was not really Jesus Christ? What if it had been, say, Popodopolous. Perhaps Bertie Popodopolous. Would some of you now be going to church to practice Popodopolousianity? Would the Romans have thrown Popodopolousians to the lions? Of course he may have been called Smith. I may need a lie down.
Man Must Die 0 Posted October 13, 2005 im more meaning important parts of the bible may be wrong, not really speakign about trivial things such as christs name.

Man Must Die 0 Posted October 13, 2005 i havent read much into intelligent design, although what i have read i do not agree with, intellegent design is only theory is it not? i think its only theory. an appearance of intelleigent design, could be just that, it appears as if it is. i dont like the theory, i prefer naturl evoltion, but that also doesnt fully explain what put us here in the first place, so i tend not to look to much inot the topic
Mortician 2 Posted October 13, 2005 You are obviously not a fan of the Intelligent Design theory then. How can you believe in Intelligent Design in a world that has been graced by the Krankees, Timmy Mallett and Chris Evans..... At least evolution admits capability to f*ck up occassionally! When evolution cocks up the mistake usually gets eaten. It could be Limited Intelligent Design, or ESN* Design. Or maybe it is so clever as to put in deliberate mistakes so as to fool us.
