As a united fan glad he is gone not the only problem at united as the board and the players have a lot of questions to answer but he certainly made a bad situation worse. Mourinho is a great manager in the beginning but he will never last long term as he winds too many people up the wrong way, a recipe for disaster especially with today’s pampered players. I think also Jose is yesterday’s man a great manager 10 to 15 years ago but the game has moved on and Mourinho hasn’t, still has a great record as a manager but his best days are behind him. 

 

As this is death list, I suppose better evaluate his mortality, I do think for a man of 55 who by in large has lived the life of luxury he looks rough and haggard the bags under his eyes a possible indication of heart trouble and his general demeanour means he could pass for a bloke in his early to mid 60’s. I remember looking at his hands in a few of his recent press conferences and they are puffy and swollen and he looks like he has bad circulation.  I cannot see him living into his 90s like other past United managers like Tommy Docherty or Frank O’ Farrell, I bet he croaks it in his early 70s.
