Tuber Mirum 125 Posted August 22, 2005 Next up for a birthday is Captain Oates. 27th of August 1949. Easily old enough to be Weatherman90's mother, but seemingly doesn't merit a mention in the calendar. PS: Happy Birthday Heaven, I suppose.
Dr Strangelove 14 Posted August 22, 2005 Well the Piano Man has now been released, if it's really Josco maybe he doesn't have access to a computer now he's outside of care.

Captain Oates 21 Posted August 22, 2005 Easily old enough to be Weatherman90's mother I wonder if my son is Weatherman90....... Just the sort of thing he might get up to! Remind me to clip him round the ear next time I see him. Happy Birthday HCW
Paul Bearer 6,102 Posted August 22, 2005 Hmmm... well yes, MHR HCW, if it is your "special day." One doesn't want to sound too churlish about these things, but why are some birthdays noted on the calendar, and not others? I notice that a number of us have February birthdays, but that month is left blank. Do you have to have 700 posts or something to qualify? I wouldn't mind, but HCW didn't even bother to put her/his birthday on the profile. Bah! Quite easy really, click on the calendar at the top of the screen, pick your month, date and year and add new event ( I hope I'm doing this right) click on the date , do a post. Hope that answered your question

Josco 49 Posted August 22, 2005 May I thank you all for your kind words, it is most appreciated. I have been enjoying the delights of sunny Dumfries for a day or two and have been out of touch. As I mentioned in a previous post, my circumstances have changed at work somewhat and I am less able access this site (or any other for that matter). Still, 50 eh? Who would have thought it? Still able to enjoy the odd glass of Hendriks (with cucumber, NOT lemon) Kind regards Josco.
