Banshees Scream 110 Posted September 25, 2005 I would say in the last month or so quite a bit of my posts have been changed by some ignorent moderator who takes offense to the fact that i myself am wonderfully gifted with great power to predict deaths. It's all based on jealousy i would think. If there is anyone else on this forum who's posts have been changed at a dramatic level post in this thread and let everyone know. Also note to all moderators and administrators do not delete this thread because obviously it was created for a purpose. Now i would enjoy the pleasure of watching how our well respected administrators solve this ongoing problum. Sincerley Banshees Scream
Captain Oates 21 Posted September 25, 2005 Rogue editors can be fun. But there is no fun in changing a post if the original is not still either visible or retrievable from earlier in the thread. I find it very frustrating when something in a post is obviously not in the poster's style and amounts to a silly comment. Perhaps it is a hilarious satire on the original, but for that to work (and/or be fair to the original poster) then the original post must be visible. Please Mods (you will know if this means you), use a bit of intelligence before you make alterations to members' contributions. Here is a recent example of an obviously altered post, which makes no sense and is not even amusing. Unfortunately I (and other forum members who will evetually read it) have no means of knowing what Banshees posted.

Speak of the devil................ Welcome back TF. I'm not really here you know. This is merely a figment of your imagination. I post therefore I am not. "I post therefore I am not" ; is this some kind of philosophical excuse to post more and more, i.e. the more you post, the less you exist, hence the less annoyance you will cause to fellow members? There seems some faulty logic here, sir.
Windsor 2,233 Posted September 25, 2005 I quite enjoy the signature editing but not the post editing. I actually have very good spelling, its just that some mod keeps editing my posts to make the spelling wrong.
