You'd need pretty long arms to shoot yourself in the head with one of those mothers.

Amanda, I most wholeheartedly concur. Love your new avatar.

I'd like 5 of the above in 12.7mm/.50cal, please, for my Accuracy International AS50.

I was talking to a friend about this today. Whilst it would serve only to galvanize the (already pretty supremely galvanized) neo-con powers-that-be and would, therefore, be a pyrrhic victory, he's pissed the world off so many times that I'd be more than willing to use my W.O.C. above on GWB, then martyr myself by putting a bullet in my own head. When they found my body on the rooftop, I'd be wearing a custom-made T-Shirt with the slogan "Guilty As Charged".

"One Shot, One Kill", as they say in the sniping community... (the extra 4 rounds would be for Rumsfeld, Rove, Cheney or GHWB, should they be within range)

You are the one true voice... I need to lie down now... :)

Or failing that, one of these names:

George Bush

Allright so Amanda's new avatar is amusing?

What is with all these weapons? Should we open a ammunition section

in the DL merchandise? :)

That might be described in legalise as a "conflict of interest", tempting though the idea is..

in 6 months. :)

Though since i don't have the DL mug it's

not to blame.

There are other ways of pouring liquids in a keyboard. High velocity expulsion through the nose is one.

This is exactly why a keyboard cover is such a useful item.

Oh, and it's often possible to revive a drowned keyboard. If it's only a matter of sticky keys, surgery, a wet cloth, a day of drying and reassembly do the trick.

Or you could switch to a

Microsoft Keyboard.

A visitor to this Forum, might get the impression we're celebrity stalkers,

who are armed to the teeth.

Crouching in the bushes outside the chosen celebs home, just waiting to get off the perfect shot.

That actually sounds a lot more entertaining.

I'd love to do that for a living.

I was thinking today that maybe a good DL item would be a Deathlist List (maker-pad-thingy). Like the Chopin Liszt pads which were so popular a few years ago (and assumedly still are amongst classical music buffs). You know: a lined, rectangular pad of paper with a magnet on the back so you can stick it to the fridge and add random groceries as the need arises for when you go shopping.

Does that make any sense?!

Even though i don't plan on ruining my current one

i'll take this idea into consideration.

Another alternative is the amazing Virtual Keyboard. I'd love to try one of these.

It does look clever but it's a bit pricey ($189)

Yes it does. The name of the item that you are referring to is a "magnetic notepad".

Whilst idly probing sections of this site I was unfamiliar with, I chanced upon the merch.

What I want to know is: how much of this has actually sold? Was I remiss in not purchasing my DL mug when I joined up?

And furthermore, where's the "special merchandise" celebrating "big DeathList successes as they happen" as promised?

May I suggest that more... fashionable... items be put up for sale? For example the DL Bikini. Or the matching DL His and Hers Cufflinks. Or perhaps the DL Aromatherapy Set of Bath Oils. Maybe there could be a monthly bit of kitch commemorating [sp?] the top poster of the month: like the Tempus Fugit Set of Six Coasters.

Or maybe we need to think more long term: for example, a lovely dinnerware set where each month a new piece comes out (soup bowls, side plates, gravy boat) upon which is inscribed the best Guest Rant of the month.

I think a more interesting question is -where does the money go?-

Perhaps it goes towards the cost of the forum software and the web hosting.

And if there's any left after that there are the not inconsiderable expenses incurred at the time when each year's list is drawn up. Not to mention the kebab and the taxi home.
