Windsor 2,233 Posted December 10, 2005 Well I think I know where this thread is going.....I think there is still time for Astor to be unlucky thirteen.
Banshees Scream 110 Posted December 11, 2005 For the next death there are possibilitys galore. The rumors ofJKG's failing health continue. Then actress Liz Taylor has returned to the spotlight with rumors of depression and that she has simply givin up on life. Although alot like Patrick Moore and even Ronnie Biggs i doubt there passing will be in the remaining months of the 2005 year. Secretely i have also had my eye on Jane Wyman and Brooke Astor of "course on the accounts of her age". Also with so many other canidates in there 90's it makes the next death allmost unpredictable. Overall i still have my bets on Galbraith and Mrs.Astor. Not a mention of Richard Pryor, Banshees powers must be fading. I explained this in my thread - JKG was my ordinary pick. Guest iain Posted December 11, 2005 Now that Richard Pryers gone is it too late to match the record of 14 deaths in the next 3 weeks I wonder?I think I'd settle for 13 at this late stage.Theres bound to be plenty of 90 somethings feeling the effects of the cold winter weather surely! Ive heard JK Galbraith has been sick lately so I'll put a bet on him making it no
Guest iain Posted December 11, 2005 PS ive given up on Patrick Moore going any time soon..I now predict his demise in the latter half of 2007 ,after hes seen Sky at Nights 50th anniversary show out
Canadian Paul 97 Posted December 11, 2005 Well, most of us were right about getting 12 in this year... what about 13? Personally, I'm just not sure. I was fairly sure with 12, I'm not so certain anymore.
maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted December 11, 2005 On the strength of Artie Shaw at the death (ho ho ho) last year, I'll go for another 13 down in a calender year. Brooke Astor would be my bet but - all in all - I think one of the elderly and infirm DL'ters will go before the end of the month.
Bridge over the River Styx 0 Posted December 11, 2005 Richard Pryor eh? It looks like we all got it wrong.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted December 11, 2005 is there going to be a new poll for Number 13? Apparently since you waited a mere 15 minutes before slapping one together and getting it on the board. What a waste.
