There have been many attempts to begin a deathlist thread that has nothing to do with death. As far as I can tell there was one successful thread but it....em.....went missing.

There used to be a 'chat 'feature on the actual forum (I'm told) but it had to be discontinued because the admin and mods were saying too much about deathlist secrets.

 

And yes, this thread has a very short life expectancy.....

I've created a thread much alike but I suppose some of our

regular folks around here are very private and sharing pointless

talk would be a waste of there time.

Given the slightest opportunity, most 'relevant' threads seem to veer wildly off course. The trick is in finding the right thread for your particular digression.

 

Personally I can't remember the last time I mentioned death. I do hope this isn't a banning offence.

Thats actually a good point. I very rarely mention death. I normally argue, make lewd comments and try to be slightly amusing.

But yes the mods can be a little hasty with their delete buttons sometimes - a couple of weeks ago we had some twunt trying to flog phones, and he got shown the door pretty sharpish, but a thread such as this harms no-one.
